Wendy moyer textile artist. Posted in Work in Progress. The Start of a Commission. I’m working on a new piece a commission which came along when I really needed the boost. It is perhaps the most intricate piece I’ve done to date and will incorporate a large agave, a few organos and a bushel of yucca flowers. Best of all, it pushes me into the studio, a place where I need to spend more time. Agave leaves from sketch to pattern to padding. White base coat on a sculpted agave leaf.
