Sunday, August 3, 2008. So, we're really behind on pictures. here's an attempt at catching up on our summer highlights! We've reached many new milestones: eating solids, crawling, pulling up on everything, lots of laughing, and fun family time in our new pool! This is how I roll. One of my dearest friends who is like a sister to me hosted a Tea for me to introduce Cale to dear family friends while we were in KC. I have known some for 20 years! Amber blessed me and my family so much! It flew by so fast!

Tuesday, November 10, 2009. This past weekend we went to Houston to have Cale's 2nd birthday party. Big Daddy and Big Mama hosted it for us and we had a great time! I can't believe that he is already turning 2. Time flies! Here are some pictures from the party. This is a special picture of 4 generations of first-born sons in the Whitaker family. This is a very unique picture of 5 generations. Cale, Dad, Grandpa, Big Mama (Cale's great grandmother), and Aunt Rosemary (Cale's great, great, great aunt).

We don't have wood working equipment and neither of our home improvement stores do precise cuts in wood, so I had to spend a bit more than I would have liked to get boards that were the width I needed. I did purchase a cheap miter block and saw, so I cut things to the length I needed with that. Sawing by hand was not easy! We are a family of 3 living in El Dorado, KS., well 5 if you include our dog Rubi, and our kitty Jessica! Ben works for Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, and I'm (Falon) attending Emporia State University working on my degree in Elementary Education. We have a beautiful 3 year old son named Aiden.
