Saturday, May 31, 2008. Moonlight on the Pier. Last night Cal and I went with 3 other couples down to Folley Beach to a Shaggin' event on the pier. Now, if you're like me before I moved to SC, you're wondering what on earth Shaggin' is (Austin Powers ruined that word for me). Shag is a dance that started in Charleston years ago and it's similar to the Jitterbug and to Swing dancing. You would have thought we were a bunch of caged parents who never get out and take a break from our toddlers. oh, wait.

Monday, July 30, 2007. Something to think on. I stumbled upon this quote and it spoke volumes to me, so I wanted to share it on our blog:. Tuesday, July 17, 2007. Fun Summer So Far. Our Michigan trip was a blast this year. The kids had such an amazing time playing with their cousins, swimming and taking very few baths over the course of 10 days. Thursday, September 10, 2009. Big Update on Us. We had a very nice summer filled with swim lessons, swim team and even a trip to Michigan. Bry swam on the swim team and learned a lot about self discipline and improving his strokes. Jaime and the kids recently spend several days at the Grand Canyon, visiting good friends and enjoying the ...

http://trainingupintheway.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 26, 2008. It is hard to believe that it has been 2 years since that beautiful day in Flagstaff, Arizona when our family was completed with precious Elliotte Cathryn. It has gone fast, yet we've done more things than I ever thought possible in two years. How could life have ever been without our Elle-girl? Could we have ever imagined how wonderfully sweet and delightfully charming she would be? Thursday, September 25, 2008. BIG Sigh.) I love this time of year! Sunday, September 14, 2008.
