I just love this gummy grin. Passing the time while we wait in line. Such a proud mommy moment. The super disgusting ride that Kinsley loved. Leaning in for a closer look. Just being a kid - get it:). Thursday, September 3, 2009. Here are some pics of my little 7mo old cutie. Leah with her Deeda. And Praise the Lord.

A Goldsworthy Note: May 2012
http://valeriegoldsworthy.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 13, 2012. In another part of the book is this same picture from a different angle. When Grant saw it the first thing he said was "Mama, big ball". Of all things he noticed the big blue workout ball in the background. Haha. That boy is a ball maniac. Not only did Grant color the pot, but he also planted the seed for my pretty flower. My heart melted as I read the words and saw his artwork on the cover of my book. Right about now the tears were streaming down my cheeks. I love my boy very much!

A Goldsworthy Note: Goodbye Daddy...Goodbye Love!!!
http://valeriegoldsworthy.blogspot.com/2012/05/goodbye-daddygoodbye-love.html
Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Goodbye Daddy.Goodbye Love! It was the sweetest thing when we walked into the squadron. As soon as Grant saw Joe he ran to him saying "DaDa" and wanted "up, up." I continuously said Grant didn't understand what was going on, but I do think he knew his Daddy was going away. Maybe he didn't understand completely what was going on or how long he would be away, but he knew daddy was going "buh buh" bye-bye. Grant and Joe soon after we entered the squadron. I love them! I guess Gran...

A Creative Leak: Sandpaper & T-shirts
http://creative-leak.blogspot.com/2012/10/sandpaper-t-shirts.html
Friday, October 12, 2012. Thanks to Pinterest, I found a new way to get designs on t-shirts. A few years ago I tried the freezer paper stencil on a t-shirt trick. And it wasn't hard to do, but I never did as many as I promised the girls I would. Finding a design that I liked, that meant something, and that lent itself to stencilling wasn't easy for me. This new way is something I think we can all do:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Perpetual Tourists.Tucson Edition. The Skyhawk and The Warthog.

A Creative Leak: Lunch Bags
http://creative-leak.blogspot.com/2012/10/lunch-bags.html
Saturday, October 13, 2012. Awhile back, I made a few lunch sacks. Julia had been taking her lunch to school in a paper bag which did not lend itself to a cold pack very well. I don't remember her complaining about the cheese stick being soggy or anything, but I didn't feel good about sending her with things I thought should at least be kept cool. So I took a few old canvas shopping bags from World Market, a few zippers, and an old sweatshirt for insulation, and made some sacks.

A Creative Leak: Mock Meet
http://creative-leak.blogspot.com/2012/10/mock-meet.html
Saturday, October 13, 2012. The swim team had a fun meet at practice this week. Julia was excited about it. Holly did not want to compete (a feeling I think she may have partly gotten from being my daughter). And Alan wasn't really sure what was going on. They have all improved a lot since they started swimming. And they all did really well in their heats. Parent volunteers were the timers. I was the only parent to cheer on my swimmers.
