There were only a few hairs that were longer than the rest (hairs she has had since she was born). It makes for shorter pig tails, but when her hair is down, we think it's just adorable with all her mini curls and a little clip. I don't consider this her first haircut, just a trim. Although Payton was in a cast and needed to be in a sling at all times unless resting, it did not slow her down in the least! Payton did everything she had done before her accident. She tried to get comfy. She bathed (with a plastic bag on her arm). She brushed her teeth. She drank her water. She helped Mom with chores. And she was her CRAZY, ADORABLE self!

Payton is growing likie crazy, walking, dancing, playing and trying to talk. We are preparing to try her in a toddler bed for baby's arrival in under 10 weeks (Wish us luck)! She loves crawling around pretending she's bigger than she really is. In nursery on Sundays, she follows the big kids around. Have a look at all the things she can do. Payton has also shown us how smart she is. She nods her head a lot in agreeance (I hope she stays so compliant in the future). I Can Get Messy.

As for me and my house, we will serve YOU. Monday, June 11, 2012. This past weekend we took a short trip to Edmonton to celebrate my childhood friend, Erika's wedding. We drove up on Saturday morning and drove home on Sunday afternoon. It was short but definitely worth it! Payton is our little dancing queen. although she couldn't have stolen the show from such a beautiful bride- she did attract a lot of attention to herself. The two prettiest girls.
