Saturday, March 16, 2013. Irish Fiddling in the rain at the Farmers Market. I'm having a hard time juggling two blogs. Life has mostly been about this little leprechaun due next week and I've been blogging on my other site LittleWoodbilly.blogspot.com instead of my business blog. But today I did some Irish fiddling with 5 of my fiddle students at the farmers market. It started to pour (you can see my soaked sleeve in the picture below! But it was so much fun playing Irish music with this gang!

The Andrew Street Mob. The story takes place in Johannesburg, South Africa. The city has provided enough stories for hundreds of books. It was a farmland at first, then a mining campsite, then a town and finally a major business and industrial city - the driver was GOLD. During the second World War, South Africa was cut off from the world as very few ships were scheduled on the precarious shipping lanes. Planes and ships were too valuable to be used for commercial use - but they did make it!
