Blessings of a Butterfly: AEB turns ONE!
http://blessingsofabaileybutterfly.blogspot.com/2011/03/aeb-turns-one.html
Blessings of a Butterfly. A year has past since little Avery made her splash into the world. She is more than worthy of multiple celebrations! We began the day with song and balloons greeting her as she woke. Brother joined me in singing her the first of many renditions of Happy Birthday. After a breakfast of berries and a waffle we got dressed for a photo shoot. I hadn't planned on her needing to be on the move (what was I think? It was worth all the late hours when she saw the butterfly mobiles go up i...

Blessings of a Butterfly: March 2010

Blessings of a Butterfly. I watch you. I watch you sleep. Your eyes dance. Your mouth smiles. I see the future. I see your joy. I dream. I hope. Most of all I pray. Pray that you may always know, feel and receive the love that is offered. Love from your grandparents. Who will love you through sharing traditions, gifts and the creation of special moments that will most likely involve ice cream. Love from your brother. Who will love you through play, laughter and the occasional sibling rivalry. 160; .

Blessings of a Butterfly: September 2010
http://blessingsofabaileybutterfly.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Blessings of a Butterfly. Avery had to go to Phoenix Children's hospital last week for some tests. Nothing overly serious but it was still a nerve racking experience. After it was over Mr. Bailey asked me how I was doing. My response was "exhausted". I have visited this particular hospital plenty to pray for kids and families in our ministry but I was not a parent then. I feel like now I have a whole new understanding of how much you as a parent physically hurt for your children. Too cute in her gown!

Blessings of a Butterfly. A messy girl and her brother. Breakfast at the bailey's. A messy girl and her brother. Posted on Friday, July 30, 2010. 160; . More importantly than hitting major milestones I wanted to take some time and simply share about Avery, who she is and who she is becoming. When Avery first arrived in my arms the first thing that came to my mind is poet. I immediately felt like she was a deep thinker. And she is. She is simply sweet. She is meek, content and joyful. And my heart leaps ...

Blessings of a Butterfly: Mommy and Daughter
http://blessingsofabaileybutterfly.blogspot.com/2010/12/mommy-and-daughter.html
Blessings of a Butterfly. I asked Eric the other day if he has ever felt like there was something different between the connection he has with Renn than Avery? The answer is "yes" for me. Not is a bad way. it just is. When I found out I was pregnant I KNEW she was a girl and that made me nervous. I felt like I had the boy thing down. Could I really raise a girl? Was I going to be good enough at the fashion side of it? Was it just going to be too much hoopla that I feel like comes with girls? 160; .

Blessings of a Butterfly: Baby's First Christmas
http://blessingsofabaileybutterfly.blogspot.com/2010/12/babys-first-christmas.html
Blessings of a Butterfly. I am thankful to have it be Avery's 1st Christmas! Simply because it means we get closer and closer to her 2nd and 3rd Christmas which she will enjoy that much more. She had the most fun actually playing with her brother's toy (I am guessing this will be the story of her life). Then the few things she got. She had her first Cranberry bread (a family tradition). Blessings of a Butterfly: November 2010
http://blessingsofabaileybutterfly.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Blessings of a Butterfly. First Christmas equals first Christmas card photo shoot with the fantabulous Carrie Fay! Some of my favorites of her. Posted on Friday, November 26, 2010. 160; . How fast it goes. Avery, Avery, Avery. Almost nine months old. Where does time go? I awoke to her coughing (tis the season). Early this morning and I decided to help her with a bit of rocking (bad idea - she thought it was time to play). Crawling was a slow start but she has really taken off now. She seems to be ab...
