Claire went in to her school, Central Institute for the Deaf, on March 16 and received some loaner hearing aides. They set the aides to a fairly low setting just to test things out. Sunday, November 30, 2008. October 2008, I. October 2008, I. Katelyn gets her very first hair cut (just the bangs). Now she can see! Apple-picking with some friends from Dave's work (while Dave was working). A trip back through Oirase Gorge to Lake Towada to see the fall foliage. Fall was an extremely beautiful time of year here. The air dried out (it was unbelievably humid when we got here in late July), and it was cool and pleasant. The kids telling knock-knock jokes. It was a combination of two jokes.
