The Bloomquists

Friday, October 28, 2011. Hello blog. It's been awhile. We've had a lot going on at the house between teaching, taking classes, kids starting school, a major home remodel, and our pending adoption of one of the cutest kiddos ever. (We consider ourselves to be his parents already, so yes, we're allowed to be biased.). Easy to understand, right? Tough to do. Oh, did I mention the fact that if you do catch yourself complaining, you have to start those 21 days over? That'll be tough. But worth it.

The Bloomquists: November 2010

http://www.thebloomquistfamily.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 27, 2010. The story of Jesus. Grace is "reading" Landon a book about the birth of Jesus. I couldn't help but chuckle when she told him "And Jesus brought lots of jelly beans with him when he was born, and three guys really liked jelly beans so they came to visit him and asked him to share. Jesus is nice so he said yes, but really he wanted to keep all the black jelly beans for himself.". Posted by The Bloomquists. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Twelve Days of Christmas Part 1.

The Bloomquists: February 2010

http://www.thebloomquistfamily.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Thursday, February 25, 2010. What a busy time! We are still here and still with child. Despite ongoing contractions for the past week, we're still waiting for little Landon's arrival. Time with Daddy is always fun! Hopefully the next post that we have will include pictures of little Landon! Our hope is that if he doesn't come this weekend that he will hold off and wait through next week as that's the week of Iowa Central's musical. But then again, we don't really get a say in the matter! Rub a dub dub!

I realized yesterday that this is the last time for quite awhile that I will only have ONE in school! Posted by The Bloomquists. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Twelve Days of Christmas Part 1. Posted by The Bloomquists. Grace has become a huge fan of Hannah Montana and loves to sing Hannah songs. She's belting out (what she can remember) of the theme song to the Hannah tv show. The Bloomquists: October 2010

http://www.thebloomquistfamily.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Gracie dressed up as Tinkerbell. Emilia was a cowgirl complete with her own horse and Landon was a skeleton. We visited four houses while trick-or-treating (the kids had been sick and it was chilly and windy). The kids were the most excited about stopping by Nana's neighbors - Ellifritz's - as they're famous for always giving out chocolate milk on Halloween. Posted by The Bloomquists. We planted pumpkins on the farm this year and the girls had a blast picking them.

Beckett's Blog: Bath Art

http://beckettrussell.blogspot.com/2009/10/bath-art.html

October 28, 2009. Did you know that you can color in the bath tub? Well, mommy says they are special crayons that are only for the tub. Whatever they are I had fun coloring during my bath tonight! Some of my creations. As long as I still have room, I'm going to keep coloring! Cleanup, cleanup everybody everywhere. I think I need to tell my mommy to get me crayons for my bath. ( Although mommy says it wont happen, I can always hope! 10/31/09, 11:35 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tired Mama of 3.

The Paulsons: Back At It

http://sdpaulsonfamily.blogspot.com/2010/08/back-at-it.html

Time to catch up. The Paulson family is back at it - back to work for me (sigh) and back to daycare for Beckett and Liam (sniff). Our summer went way too fast and it was a big change for us, especially since the boys are at a new daycare. We were spoiled with Angela! Beckett and his teacher Miss Lydia. Clearly embarassed that I'm taking his picture! Liam totally fine with my picture taking, but not quite sure what's going on. What a show off! Apparently he can hold his own bottle now. A Little Bit Fit.

The Paulsons: Photo Shoot

http://sdpaulsonfamily.blogspot.com/2011/01/photo-shoot.html

Rather than dwell on how long I've been absent I'll get back into your good graces with adorable pictures of the boys. We had pictures taken of them before Christmas so we could give them as gifts to the grandparents and aunts and uncles. They turned out great - but with such cute subjects of course they had to! The Paulsons: Two Steps Forward

http://sdpaulsonfamily.blogspot.com/2011/02/two-steps-forward.html

Liam has been cruising along furniture for quite some time now and last night we coaxed him into taking a few steps. And today while we were playing downstairs I saw him taking 2 steps without peer pressure, so we may have a walker on our hands soon! OH, that is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute! Way to go, Liam! Beckett's Blog: November 2009

http://beckettrussell.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

November 30, 2009. Mommy has wanted to show my new tricks for awhile, but our camera isn't working to take video, and you know how my mommy likes to take videos of me so she can share them with you. I have been learning lots of new things at daycare from Angela and Miss Karsyn. She's only 3, but she sure is a good teacher! Counting. I can count to 10 and sometimes 12, but I decided I wanted money instead. Saying my ABCs. People were watching me so I'm a little quiet. Hey, can I tape now? November 13, 2009.

http://beckettrussell.blogspot.com/2009/12/thanksgiving-and-then-christmas.html

December 2, 2009. Thanksgiving. and then Christmas! Thanksgiving is over. For part of the weekend I went to Iowa to see Nana, Papa, Greg, Rissa, Kade and Tao. Emma wasn't able to come from Colorado but mommy says she will be home for Christmas. I had lots of fun running around with Kaden and Tao and eating lots of bread (mmmm, I love bread). Hey Kaden, look at me! Tao and Kade being silly with their daddy. Check out Kaden's crazy hat! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Three Men And Their Mom.

http://beckettrussell.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

September 29, 2009. Reporting for duty sir! Just having some fun with my dress up things. Papa and Nana came over this last weekend, and so did the Kleinhans, Jen, Selene, and Aleia. We had lots of snacks and got to make our own pizzas too. I played really hard and slept in the next day. Daddy and mommy like that! I'm helping Papa and daddy fix the back steps. Well, I think Papa did most of the work. See all those tractors and trains? Nana pulled them out of the gutter hole I had hid them in! I can't hel...
