http://monsonfamilymemoirs.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
A look into our everyday life. Monday, June 15, 2015. Utah, Bread, Shoes, and Fringes. We had so much fun visiting, being interviewed, dancing, and playing with all of them. Pace loved being with the kids. A lucky random stop for lunch on old route 66! In the Texas pan handle. Pace with a cool cactus. Just chillin' in the desert. Wheat before it is ground (Thanks mom we got this wheat from you). My wheat grinder (isn't it beautiful? Flour ground in my grinder :). Adapted from Kathy Monson's recipe).

Monson Memoirs: May 2015
http://monsonfamilymemoirs.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
A look into our everyday life. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. It has been a while since I have updated, so sorry for the picture overload, but I like to keep these memories for myself as well. A few highlights since Easter are that my brother came to visit while he was moving out to Nevada for his new job. We went hiking and played games with him. It was a fun weekend. We got a great view of the hyena. Chillin' in the stroller. The new penguin exhibit is awesome! Three men on a bed. Can't keep these two apart.

http://monsonfamilymemoirs.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
A look into our everyday life. Monday, September 29, 2014. We are so excited to announce that we are having another boy! He is just as wiggly as his older brother, so pictures during the ultrasound were hard to get. But here are a few of my favorites. I just love this one because you can see all his fingers! Can't wait till he gets here! But we will have to wait until February 2015! Saturday, September 27, 2014. Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity, Jigg. He missed, can you tell? Love the moss in the trees!

Monson Memoirs: January 2015
http://monsonfamilymemoirs.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
A look into our everyday life. Friday, January 23, 2015. A Track Suit and Orange Marmalade. Another reason I like the cold is because I get to bundle Pace up. He has lots of cute outfits (thanks everyone), but this track suit is one of my favorites. Yes, he has no fear of climbing on chairs (despite a few falls). The marmalade after soaking overnight and adding the sugar. We got 6 jars (one not shown). The pastries we took home. No this is not from the bakery (this is Jake's cheese cake). It is always fu...

Monson Memoirs: August 2014
http://monsonfamilymemoirs.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
A look into our everyday life. Thursday, August 21, 2014. We have recently been trying to get Pace to eat what we're eating at the table. I say trying because this guy is selective about taste, color, texture, etc. He is one of the few kids we know who won't even eat a syrup drenched waffle. But not to worry there are plenty of things that he does eat. Here is a clip of when Pace decided eating with a fork just wasn't fast enough for him! Here he is so excited for us to set up his tricycle. And here he i...

Monson Memoirs: April 2014
http://monsonfamilymemoirs.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
A look into our everyday life. Tuesday, April 22, 2014. My favorite picture of the week. I just love this little guy! Easter is such a great holiday, a time for getting together, a time to decorate and hunt for eggs, and a time to reflect on the Savior. Unfortunately, in the past Jake and I haven't taken full advantage of celebrating it. This year we changed that. We've been able to do some fun things for Easter this year. And their beautiful mom, Tracy. I will be making these again! Gem of a movie, whic...

Ciao Bella: March 2012
http://mcousin-megan.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Why Katniss Everdeen is my girl crush:. 1 She's a girl who kicks butt- obv she's awesome. 2 She makes braids cool. 3 She looks better with brunette hair than blonde. 4 She is in rockin shape and has awesome curves. 5 She's tough, smart, loving, and not whiny and dramatic. 6 She knows how to shoot a bow and arrow.definitely a dying art form that should make a comeback. This is me trying to channel my inner Katniss-braid-awesomeness. Thursday, March 15, 2012. Tuesday, March 13, 2012.

Monson Memoirs: Happy 2nd Birthday Pace!
http://monsonfamilymemoirs.blogspot.com/2015/07/happy-2nd-birthday-pace.html
A look into our everyday life. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Happy 2nd Birthday Pace! We kept things simple for Pace's birthday. We decided to have cake and ice cream at our house and invite his friend from across the street. I did make a train birthday cake, which was a lot of work, but totally worth it. He loved it. He opened his birthday presents after his friend left and he loved them. Licking out the bowl. He makes this beard look good. Admiring his new book. Loves it before it is even out of the package.

Monson Memoirs: God Bless America
http://monsonfamilymemoirs.blogspot.com/2015/07/god-bless-america.html
A look into our everyday life. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. One of the great perks of being a military family is that the 4th is a big deal (as it should be). Jake was able to have a four day weekend. We took full advantage of our family time together. Pace liked waving to the animals more than petting them. Waiting for the frisbee dogs. They had some tanks for us to climb on and in. Pace decided to make plate out of a frisbee. Pace dancing to the preshow music:.
