We'd heard good things about the National Aquarium, so we took a day trip to Baltimore to check it out. Samantha loved it (as long as we were in a well-lit area that wasn't too noisy)! Simple, everyday happenings. July 6, 2015. 4th of July Weekend 2015. Our Fourth was extra special because Aunt Rachel flew in from Mexico City to spend the weekend with us! How spoiled are we? Needless to say, Samantha was in heaven having a doting auntie around. Friday night we had a BBQ with Carlie, Matt, and Julia. The kids were very entertained by their new trampoline. She does, however, like homemade ice cream. Definitely a great 4th of July. Come back soon, Rachel! This was such a fun weekend!

Simple, everyday happenings. December 14, 2014. When your husband has to go to Hawaii for work, you should probably go along. And leave your two-year old with Grandma and Grandpa. And stay at an awesome resort. And basically do nothing but relax on the beach. It turns out that when you're jet lagged and waking up by 4 am, you can catch some amazing sunrises. Simple, everyday happenings. December 12, 2011. Hawaii, Part II. Jered spent very little time at the conference. Why go to an academic conference when there is an island to explore? Swimming at Waimea Falls. Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. 65279;. Made it to the top. Honolulu from the top of Diamond Head. 23 week baby bump. Sunset Beach was our favorite! Still more to come. A few highlights since Easter are that my brother came to visit while he was moving out to Nevada for his new job. We went hiking and played games with him. It was a fun weekend. We got a great view of the hyena. Chillin' in the stroller. The new penguin exhibit is awesome! Three men on a bed. Can't keep these two apart.

We decided to have cake and ice cream at our house and invite his friend from across the street. I did make a train birthday cake, which was a lot of work, but totally worth it. He loved it.
