Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Where did summer go? This past Sunday we walked in the annual ALS walk in honor of Leigh's dad, Scott Smith. He was diagnosed in 2000 with the disease.The whole family came out to walk together! It has been a crazy summer flying by so fast. So many things, so many memories to make! Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Poor Ricky's crutches kept sinking in the sand! Rocky mountains. We saw tons of "rock slide" and "severe curves ahead" road signs. We even saw one that said "Dips next 6 miles" Never saw one of those before and the road did dip up and down! Although when I saw "dips" a few names came to mind! Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Ricky left last Friday for encampment. He is up at Fort Pickett in Virginia doing a 10 day 'boot camp'. Leigh tells me he will want to sleep for a week when he gets back!
