Frosty Flakes BOM | The Quilting Pirate
https://thequiltingpirate.wordpress.com/2010/08/04/frosty-flakes-bom
Another day ripping out stitches and repairing the seams or in other words, just trying to quilt new sails. August 4, 2010. Anyone interested in playing along? I’m been in a mind set that BOM’s are the way to go lately for me because I don’t have a lot of “me” sewing time and the time I seem to find is limited enough to work on one block, so looking at some other BOM’s to pick up and this new free one just came up and it have hexagons in it! Jules's Notes: July 2011
http://julessnotes.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. It seemed to me that Thessaloniki was a city of apartment buildings. Once you got away from the waterfront, there was very little open space in the city- just tall buildings and roads. So, here is a gas station. Right there, under someone's apartment, is the Shell station. But, then, you come across something like this. And miss this detail? Links to this post. Thursday, July 28, 2011. Jules's Notes: Chapter 2, History of the Medieval World
http://julessnotes.blogspot.com/2015/01/chapter-2-history-of-medieval-world.html
Wednesday, January 07, 2015. Chapter 2, History of the Medieval World. This chapter was about the time period 220-420 AD in China. I know nothing about Eastern history, so it's all new to me. In 357, Fu Jian started conquering cities in the north, and in 383 tried to defeat the Jin at the Battle of the Fei River. Even though Fu Jian had a much bigger army, the Jin defeated them. At that pont, Fu Jian's cities started falling away. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Marietta, Georgia, United States.

We had a lovely Christmas. Just us and Nana and Poppy. Araminta had a great time opening her Christmas stocking in the morning. Then we had breakfast (Daddy made pancakes) and we opened presents when Nana and Poppy arrived at about 10am. Araminta was our present delivery girl. Here she is opening her present from Grandma in Western Australia. Araminta helped Mummy wrap up Daddy’s presents, so she was very excited to see him unwrap his gift. Laquo; Christmas is coming. Butterfly world | Araminta
https://araminta.wordpress.com/2009/01/31/butterfly-world
A few weekends ago, we took Araminta to Butterfly World to see the Butterflies. She had a wonderful time. Here she is having lunch before we went inside. Ruth made the pants and the top. The fabric in the pants is a souveneir from Ruth’s trip to the USA in October. Araminta is well acquainted with cats as we have one of our own. However, she is especially taken with dogs. Anything with four legs and fur is deemed to be a dog and is met with enthusiastic barking noises. Laquo; Bath Time.

Gwen is Seriously Ill | gwenshouse
https://gwenshouse.wordpress.com/2009/09/21/gwen-is-seriously-ill
Gwen is Seriously Ill. Gwen contracted a very nasty virus this week that turned into pneumonia. She was admitted to the ICU at our local children’s hospital on Sunday evening. Respiratory infections are a serious threat to children like Gwen. So far she has shown signs of improvement but is not yet out of the woods. There IS hope for Gwen. But today Gwensdad and I have had some gut-wrenching conversations with doctors about how far we want them to go if she should get worse. Thank you in advance. Oh gosh...
