Not only did we attend the memorial, but we went to the beach, spent time with cousins and extended family, and went to Stinson Beach! I love this beach and remember boogie boarding and collected scads of sea shells! Took me a little longer than usual to get my feet adjusted to the coldness of the ocean water! And the curving drive heading toward the beach reminded me that I'm not a teenager anymore! But I love it!

Our Crazy Maher Life. GRATEFUL TO BE AN ETERNAL FAMILY. Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Then when we got back to the fire station they pulled it out front and let the boys spray the firehoses. The water pressure is so strong that the firefighter had to hold the hose to keep the little boys from being pushed backward, so stinking cute! The guys timed him because he has to have it all on in less than 90 seconds. he had it all on, including oxygen mask and breathing through the mask in one minute 5 seconds!

COLD! We woke up yesterday to real snow. We've had some a couple of times before but the longest it had lasted was a few hours. I was blessed to have been asked to go to Girls Camp this last week so I spent 5 days in a cabin with 7 girls and another cabin mom. What a difference a year makes. February 14, 2013. This year, Valentine’s Day is extra special for our family. As you may remember, last year’s Valentine’s Day was the worst ever. It was an awful day, followed by several other awful days. A week in the hospital. Over four months of bedrest. Weekly check-ups where I needed to drive Lori to the clinic, but push her around in a wheelchair, too. Not that I’m complaining…. But really, how could you not love this little girl! August 10, 2012.
