In this series of brochures we developed an alternate color palette, new typography treatments and went a completely new direction in our image choices. This time it was all about people being engaged in using PGi’s communication solutions. I wanted these to look like companion pieces that communicated with a single voice all similar yet all different. There’s a fresh attitude here. The use of natural light in the photography is key even though we’re using models everything feels fresh and real.

Last October my wife Jan decided she wanted to start a kid’s app development company and make games, books and educational apps for the Apple platform. This is one of those wonderfully disappointing projects. Wonderful as in opportunity – the new PGi brand was in flux, iMeet and GlobalMeet were on the scene for the first time, and there was a visual direction coming out of our Austin studio that was fun and had loads of personality and attitude. This was my attempt embrace these elements to bring them all together under one roof. And, I think I did it. This was a fun, quick exercise. I still think the initial designs were a success.
