How to find us. Community — Koinonia. Ldquo;I give you a new commandment,. That you love one another. Just as I have loved you,. You also should love one another. By this everyone will know. That you are my disciples,. If you love one another.”. When you visit us you will notice that we linger when we gather on Sundays, taking time after worship to connect with one another in conversation. Welcome to University Hill Congregation, the United Church of Canada at UBC

How to find us. On Sundays at 10:30 am. Greetings, U Hill! I apologize for the lateness of this week's email. It's amazing how some weeks seem to fly by so much faster than others. I expect that the pace of things will continue to speed up, as we move towards the fall and the excitement and newness that September always seems to bring! Looking forward to the campus coming back to life, as well as the things that will kick back into gear in our life together as a congregation. September 4, 2016. The Food ...

This Living Death: December 2009
http://thislivingdeath.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
God grants but one life, and that itself a gift. What do we do now? Tuesday, December 29, 2009. A Cabin of Incorrigible Castigations. What little oil she had left went to frying the thing in its meaty, earthen flavor. Sliced across and laid about some hearty rice, she ate well and slept better. Often enough, to save some miraculous thing precisely as it has been found is only the surest way to bring about its dissolution before the eyes of God and Man. Sunday, December 27, 2009. Notions of the Novelistic.

They are like trees planted by streams of water.”. Will the dust praise you?

A preachers jottings on gospel, church and living with multiple myeloma. I am concluding of my sixth month on pomalidomide along with dexamethasone and more recently also with cyclophosphamide. My latest blood results reveal that the treatment is holding my free light chain count steady (currently at 225). The flu-like symptoms (soreness and fatigue) I had been experiencing have recently faded and are less bothersome. I am hoping it stays this way! Posted by Ed Searcy. holy scribbler: like rain and snow
http://holyscribbler.blogspot.com/2013/03/like-rain-and-snow.html
A preachers jottings on gospel, church and living with multiple myeloma. Like rain and snow. When you live in a rain forest you learn what to expect. It rains. A lot. And up on the mountains? Today the Word, the new Word, the gospel Word comes in the voice of God who appears as a street vendor in the crowded marketplace of pitches and promises and slogans: “Ho, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you that have no money, come, buy and eat! Is anything really free? This is it, isn’t it? In the st...
