Adventures and mishaps of a Coastie wife. Tuesday, February 25, 2014. A Rainy Weekend Escape. We stayed in Pacific Grove - a tiny little place in between Monterey and Carmel. Unfortunately for us, our weekend away coincided with the Pro Am Golf Tournament. This tournament is probably one of the biggest tourist attractions and cash flow for the area. So we definitely did NOT stick out like sore thumbs as tourists! Plus, it rained the entire weekend! We absolutely loved it! It was perfect and amazing!

Granted, it was a four hour drive. 🙂. Jessica got to watch the whole thing! And the Tufted Titmouse birds are back (from where ever they went for the summer) and having a snack in the berry-filled tree! It figures the batteries in the camera are dead. They are such neat looking birds. So, this weekend was amazingly fun!
