Currently Featuring Classic Cocktails Made With. Saturday, November 28, 2009. Vodka as it was and could be. My latest curiosity: I intend to manufacture a bottle or two of each of these over the next few months. As for my Starka, I have already begun to age several liters of Vodka in charred Hungarian Oak. I also intend to begin aging my bitters, which is marked by several signature Russian flavors: Kvas, Mopc, and Tarragon. Stay tuned. Vodka flavored with an infusion of dried lemon and orange peels.

How many fingers am i holding up? April 23, 2013. The ruby slipper cocktail. Fresh ginger root, cut into inch cubes. 1 oz high west silver oat whiskey. 1 oz tawny port. Clear creek douglas fir eau de vie. 1/4 oz real grenadine. Rinse the inside of the glass with the douglas fir eau de vie. muddle the ginger in the oat whiskey using inch cubes, sieve into shaker with the rest of the ingredients. Monday, August 30, 2010. Happy birthday Pegu Club. Click for larger view. On Sunday, the Pegu Club celebrated its 5th anniversary, inviting folks to come drink and talk and reminisce. Yea, I'm not sure how else you really would celebrate a bar's birthday except to drink and talk about the good times had in the place. The true thing of beauty for the evening was the special anniversary "All-Stars" menu. It was a fantastic glimpse into the drinks, and people who made Pegu Club what it is today. Explanation...
