The Cole Family Chronicles. Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Happy Fourth of July! We were blessed with a really wonderful Fourth of July yesterday! It was filled with friends, food, family and fireworks! We had a great time making our paper chain decoration! It was fun, Andrew quizzed us on the order of the states. Cameron surprised everyone by knowing Nebraska was known for their corn,not sure how he knew that one! We used the chain to decorate our front porch! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Cole Family Chronicles. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. June 15th marked Cameron's fourth birthday. I got kinda teary eyed over it. It seems like just yesterday I was preparing for his first birthday. What really got me this year was the fact that all of his presents were "big boy" presents. Things like light sabers, a leapster two, and most of all his first "big boy" bike really made the point that he is no longer a baby, but a big boy. It was a fun and exciting day. A little bitter sweet for this mommy.

The Cole Family Chronicles. Tuesday, September 13, 2011. For awhile now I have wanted to come up with some sort of family rules. I did alot of web browsing trying to find ideas and concepts. Yesterday day I found a great blog post, "My Blessed Life". That gave me the inspiration I needed to spend this afternoons nap time making one of my own. I pick and chose the rules she had, and instead of using fabric, I used scrapbooking paper and posterboard. I really like how it turned out! What a great idea.

This month has really flown by and now we are getting ready for the summer activities including a month long visit from Patience! Cameron really enjoyed his iceskating lessons, and just passed his test on the 29th. He will be continuing his lessons with the hopes to be playing hockey in about a year. Sunday, July 3, 2011. First Week at Home. Jace and Dr. Hansford. The rest of the weekend was pretty quiet and restful. We took some drives to get Jace out of the house, rode him on the mule, and sat outside. I'm so thankful the weather is nice and we are not having to stay in the house the whole time.
