The Deatsch Family of 5. Thursday, September 16, 2010. Part 3 The Official 7th Birthday Extravaganza Finale. In Part 3 The Finale we are featuring Emily's little birthday celebration at home. Emi. Has a small group of close friends in a sea of many. It just so happens that of that small group of 5, three have birthdays within hours of hers. Sometimes it makes planning friend parties difficult, there is a lot of scheduling going on. Last year Emi. Even though I promised Emi. I would keep Billy and Abi.

EandAC: June 2010
http://eandac.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Aaron, Erin, Hayden, Chloe and Ellie. Saturday, June 26, 2010. Monday, June 21, 2010. Fun at the Ranchette. Here are the kids in front of the Dam. Five tuckered kids the morning before we left. That's quite a pile. Chloe was a little upset because the log was about 5 feet above the creek, and AC is about 4 feet away from her. She is not liking it one little bit. Actually, none of them look thrilled, do they? I am calling this one "Sassafrass in the tall grass". On to First Grade. Den 1 of Pack 134. Pack ...

EandAC: Hiking Thumb Butte
http://eandac.blogspot.com/2011/09/hiking-thumb-butte.html
Aaron, Erin, Hayden, Chloe and Ellie. Thursday, September 15, 2011. We went to Prescott for a weekend in June. We of course had to climb Thumb Butte. But we ain't there yet! Back to the hike. Hayden and AC were thwarted from going to the tippy top by mating Eagles or something, so they had to stay down with the rest of us weaklings. It was a great hike anyway- and a fun family tradition! Aaron, Erin, Hayden, Chloe and Ellie. Sunday, May 29, 2011. AC took Chloe to the father daughter dance again this year. Chloe looks forward to it- she is such a daddy's girl, and this night is a chance for her to have him all to herself! Ellie snuck in during the photo shoot to get her kisses, too. Next year AC will take both girls since Ellie will be old enough. Daddy and his Sweetums- ready for their special date! Wednesday, May 25, 2011. The Fancy Birthday Girl . . . And even some Fancy Older Brothers!

EandAC: October 2010
http://eandac.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Aaron, Erin, Hayden, Chloe and Ellie. Sunday, October 31, 2010. I don't actually have many pictures of the boys because as soon as daylight hit, they scattered into the woods to play boy games- usually involving sticks, sound effects and pinecones. They would return to eat, then leave again until dark or so. Hayden is holding the rope for the rope swing that was set up Saturday night. It looked extremely dangerous to my scaredy-cat eyes, but the kids loved it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete...

The Deatsch Family of 5. Monday, September 19, 2011. Back in June Travis had some work to do for a friend up in Sedona so the kids and I jumped at the opportunity to ride along. It was the first time the kids had been there and the first time I had been back in years. So while Daddy did his thing I took the kids down to the beautiful Red Rock Crossing for some splash time. Emi and Billy on the other hand had not just a "great" time, but a blast! I stand corrected. Abi did have a little fun. We packed a l...

The Deatsch Family of 5. Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Happy Birthday Billy D! Billy D, Birthday Boy! There were no fancy invites or hordes of friends. Just family and the birthday staples. It's what he wanted, or it's at least all he "actually" wanted. He made murmurs about having multiple styles of party like Emi. Has had, but he only wanted his cousins to come. How many parties can you throw for the same people in the same weekend? The girls cheered quietly from the grand stands. Take note of how the ...

The Deatsch Family of 5. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. 2010 Christmas Card Out-takes! So these are this years Christmas Card options. I must admit I used to silently panic over the whole photo shoot experience. We have tried it all different ways, professionals, friends and the ol. Standby - me. None of those options made my stress level any easier to swallow. Until I discovered the Christmas Card Out Take blog entry. It has saved me! Into being not great or even good, but hopefully at least presentable!

The Deatsch Family of 5. Monday, January 24, 2011. So this is the morning that the kids so "patiently" await. Our Christmas trees on that sacred morning. Just waiting for some little person to run down stairs and terrorize them. All 7 years of her, playing with a very small Lego. Christmas tree she discovered in her stocking. Aren't they just the sweetest? They waited so patiently for Abi. To finally get up. Geez. Even Travis and I were getting anxious. Labels: Christmas 2010 - at Home. On our way out th...

The Deatsch Family of 5. Tuesday, March 15, 2011. So sweet Emily had to. Participate in the school wide science fair this year. Must admit I was just a tiny bit totally dreading this project. The school didn't exactly send home a wealth of information about what they expected. Just the basics: research, question, hypothesis. Conclusions, etc. Every first grader should understand those, right? All my worry was in vain though. She did great! She came up with the idea on her own: what weighs more? I am awar...
