Saturday, March 24, 2012. If Only All Film Adaptations Were This Good. By a stroke of good fortune, I had the chance to see the new film adaptation of The Hunger Games. At midnight on Thursday. I had wanted to see the movie, but I wasn’t especially excited about it and had very neutral expectations. Boy, did I get a surprise. Of her toughness. The death of a specific ally and Katniss’ reaction especially proves this, and the acting was glorious to behold. Overall, The Hunger Games.
