The Cultural Exchequer | ransacking the treasury
Location: Karaoke Epoc at Adanami Shobo. March 8, 2010. Karaoke is a marmite. But for that real Japanese experience look no further than Karaoke Epoc. Karaoke Epoc is housed within Adanami Shobo. The prices above are per hour for the times specified, which are reasonable as far as Soho goes. This is probably due to the sheer age of the genuine (and slightly creaking) Japanese karaoke machines and the fact that the booths are made from some form of painted particle board, but this. Zulu Education & Empowerment Foundation
These women need our help. The Zulu Education and Empowerment Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. EIN: 90-0904705. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Zulu women and girls have largely been forgotten, first by the Apartheid government, when black Africans were forced to live 'apart' from the white population, and now by the current government which appears to lack the resources or will to help and protect them. The Zulu Education and Empowerment Foundation's (ZEE...

The Cultural Frontier | Chinese culture: bridges misunderstandings and confrontations
Chinese culture: bridges misunderstandings and confrontations. The Cultural Frontier is a blog for everyone who is interested in understanding cultural differences, in particular the Chinese culture. This is a blog to bridge the gap between the misunderstandings caused in various situations such as living, eating, working, and communicating. Why do you keep saying NO to the things I offer? Why don’t Chinese people eat bread for dinner? Why is it so loud when Chinese people eat? June 24, 2013 at 2:08 pm.
The Cultural Gap
Of course, it’s me. Of course, it’s my dream. February 17, 2015. Somewhere along the line, I lost my dream. It was a real dream, too. Not the kind filtered by logical excuses and reasonings. Not the kind that could be voiced to the person asking you why. Just a dream. I wanted to become a psychiatrist I thought I’d be good at it. There was so much I could do, so much I could learn. That was it. And then came reality – if you want to become a psychiatrist, why not become an actual doctor? May 7, 2014.
