http://purduemarc.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Mild Amusement for the Masses. Losing Faith in Humanity- One Person at a Time. Wednesday, November 23, 2005. Finished "The Client" (and "Eaters of the Dead" for that matter). The Runaway Jury, The Partner, The Firm. Keep me going because you're not sure how it's going to pan out, and there's a surprise at the end. The other ones (. The Broker, The King of Torts. Seem to be more of a seri. Is one of the latter. The Marc Approval Scale. Subject to spontaneous changes as I feel like it). 4-6 Well done, but ...

Mild Amusement for the Masses: March 2006
http://purduemarc.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Mild Amusement for the Masses. Losing Faith in Humanity- One Person at a Time. Monday, March 27, 2006. So the first morning goes off fine, but here's the kicker: on day 2, I'm awakened by a deafening blast of mariachi music! I've always suspected that the maids change the station during the day, but had no real proof. This happens all the time. Of course, she isn't going to bother changing it back and some other traveler is going to have a nasty surprise tomorrow. Caught in the act! To say the least....

Mild Amusement for the Masses: Halloween, Part 2
http://purduemarc.blogspot.com/2007/11/halloween-part-2.html
Mild Amusement for the Masses. Losing Faith in Humanity- One Person at a Time. Thursday, November 01, 2007. Halloween, Part 2. We had a good amount of kids last night- probably not as many as last year overall, but only 4 or 5 that were sans costume. Plus, manners seemed to be making a comeback, with most kids remembering to say "Trick or Treat" and "Thank you." Of course, there was the obligatory handful of trick-or-treaters that were old enough to drive, but what are you going to do? Right now we're pl...

Mild Amusement for the Masses: January 2006
http://purduemarc.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Mild Amusement for the Masses. Losing Faith in Humanity- One Person at a Time. Monday, January 23, 2006. One Small Step for Marc-Kind. The main thing I did this weekend was install a storm door, and I have a message for the good people at the Larson Door Company. Try to write better instructions! It's not actually done yet, but today's a travel day, so maybe I can finish it up before I head to Chicago. Posted by Marc @ 1/23/2006 08:20:00 AM. Wednesday, January 18, 2006. Friday, January 13, 2006. This did...

Mild Amusement for the Masses. Losing Faith in Humanity- One Person at a Time. Thursday, October 23, 2008. Is this how every woman wants to be proposed to? On a billboard outside LAX next to an ad for "Chocolate News? Posted by Marc @ 10/23/2008 09:26:00 PM. At 12:37 AM, October 24, 2008. And it says "Won't you marry me" followed by what looks like "Poopsir". At 12:39 AM, October 24, 2008. No, no. it says "Poopsie". even classier! Poopsie"s all around LA think they got a proposal. it's sad really.

Mild Amusement for the Masses: Inaugural Concert Update
http://purduemarc.blogspot.com/2009/01/inaugural-concert-update.html
Mild Amusement for the Masses. Losing Faith in Humanity- One Person at a Time. Friday, January 23, 2009. We parked ourselves on the East side of the monument where we had a clear view of a jumbotron. We could actually see the stage, but it was so far the performers were basically black dots against the white monument. We were pretty much seeing what everyone watching it on TV saw, except we could use the jumbotron to correlate the specs in the distance with the actual performance- so we knew "Hey! With U...

Mild Amusement for the Masses: I Knew It!
http://purduemarc.blogspot.com/2009/01/i-knew-it.html
Mild Amusement for the Masses. Losing Faith in Humanity- One Person at a Time. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Inauguration Day was special for a number of reasons, but one that I pointed out was that it had to be the most porta-potties ever assembled in one place. Seriously- they were everywhere. They stretched on into the horizon. But now we have confirmation from an authority. Posted by Marc @ 1/28/2009 08:32:00 PM. At 10:12 PM, January 28, 2009. That article was a whole lot of bologne! Another reason wh...

Mild Amusement for the Masses: Halloween Fun
http://purduemarc.blogspot.com/2008/11/halloween-fun.html
Mild Amusement for the Masses. Losing Faith in Humanity- One Person at a Time. Saturday, November 08, 2008. Okay, now we're a solid week past Halloween, it's time for me to blog about it! Sorry about the tardiness- I had to go to the UK this week and internet access there is always spotty. Especially at the Hilton Manchester Airport. We do have a toll-free UK number we can use for internet, but the hotel charges 50 pence (roughly 6.34 galleons) a minute for. Calls How do they sleep at night? You're way a...

Mild Amusement for the Masses: February 2006
http://purduemarc.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Mild Amusement for the Masses. Losing Faith in Humanity- One Person at a Time. Thursday, February 16, 2006. The Great Train Robbery Review. I liked the Great Train Robbery. This is the same type of Crichton book as Eaters of the Dead. As opposed to the high-tech, adrenaline-fueled adventures, it's more of a period piece. The plot itself isn't all that original or compelling, but the manner in which the story is told makes it extremely interesting. Posted by Marc @ 2/16/2006 03:53:00 PM. So, I was getting...

Mild Amusement for the Masses. Losing Faith in Humanity- One Person at a Time. Monday, December 08, 2008. Obama Win Causes Obsessive Supporters To Realize How Empty Their Lives Are. I don't care which way you voted- this is hilarious. Maybe it's because I live in dangerous proximity to the DC area, but for the last year I've been forced to listen to more Obama support than anyone should ever have to. I love The Onion. Love it. And I'll throw this in. Posted by Marc @ 12/08/2008 07:56:00 PM.
