Friday, December 31, 2010. As the saying goes, what a difference a year makes. This time last year I was trying my best to keep it together emotionally, as I prepared myself for some big changes. The first of the year brought Megan heading off to Uganda, while at the same time, Carly and I were preparing for our trip to meet baby Henry. Talk about an emotional beginning of the year! And now, Megan is back in the states and we will soon be celebrating Henry's first birthday. What will this year bring?

Saturday, October 30, 2010. Yes, even though the only remaining kids at home are now 15 and 13, they are not too cool to pick out pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. Which makes Momma happy. I even took pictures. And ignored the snarky remarks they constantly hurled at each other. They give the illusion that they get along! Last of all, this could simply be the reason why Stevie is at times quite grumpy. We simply don't feed him enough. Good thing he picked out a really big pumpkin. Eat up, Stevie!

I admit it's ridiculous but there are just so many great apps for his age, how can we not snatch them up? What if there was an easy to search database of quality, educational apps? OH WAIT. THERE IS. All week my stomach has been weird and at times I felt nauseous out of nowhere, so naturally I was a little excited. Unfortunately, today I started my period :(. I was laying on the bed with Garrison and he asked me how I was feeling and I told him that my stomach hurt because I started my period. He said, "Oh man! And from the other room Henry yelled, "THERE'S ONE BABY HERE! Best of luck for next month!

My apologies to the teenage Henry who may someday read this blog.but OMG. This picture was taken s econds before he pooped all over his shoes. I told him we were camping so he could pee in the woods and he took my advice a step further. Its still a little too cold here to go camping yet. Looks like you guys had a blast.

Knit in worsted twist. It’s raining today so I thought I’d re-visit some sunny photos from last month. I’m searching for a cardigan pattern for my daughter. Maybe a mini manu. Some moments in my studio last week. Belated birthday socks for my recently turned 4 yr old. Wrap her in hugs and hand knits (and her little brother too, if he would let me). Garter stitch scarf using Blue Sky Metalico. Strands of Silver and Opal held together. Scarves left in my shop. Are now on sale! New extra long hand knit socks.
