http://treschicveronique.blogspot.com/2009/04/countdown-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-three.html
Countdown: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, THREE! I just couldn't blog without having some kind of FO to show you. This is Simplicity 5756. A super easy pattern. I can't really tell you which "view" I made, since I made the short sleeves from the shirt pattern, but followed the directions for the dress. I used a modern flower print. From Purl. I finished this dress just in time to wear to what turned out to be a surprise baby shower. I also finally made the second baby bootie. Monday, April 27, 2009. Hanami Stole,...

purlfriend: Inch by Inch, Row by Row
http://purlfriend.blogspot.com/2009/08/inch-by-inch-row-by-row.html
August 19, 2009. Inch by Inch, Row by Row. When Maudie was a little girl, she loved that song. We listened to it and sang along with Peter Paul and Mary. A lot. We didn't have a garden then, but at least we had middle-aged hippies to sing to us about a garden. One of the great things about living where we do is that although we are landlocked, our area is mostly rural. If we drive for about ten minutes, we're whizzing past Amish buggies and acres and acres of farmland. Last night I was reading Erin's.

Needles and Spokes: Ride the Road Tour
http://needlesandspokes.blogspot.com/2011/06/ride-road-tour.html
Monday, June 13, 2011. Ride the Road Tour. On June 5, W and I attended the Ride the Road Tour. It was an organized bike ride through the streets of downtown and surrounding areas - however, we had a police escort that basically closed the streets to vehicular traffic in order for us to pass through. As a result, we got to cycle some busy streets that many people might not normally have the courage to ride on! Stanley Park is far from where we live so we took the train:. They had beautiful bikes and we ha...

http://needlesandspokes.blogspot.com/2011/05/introducing-betty.html
Monday, May 2, 2011. Well, I did it. I splurged and got myself a Betty Foy. And I'm so glad I did. This bike is so enjoyable to ride - comfortable, fast, and functional. More to follow! May 4, 2011 at 7:41 PM. Congrats on the new bike! May 9, 2011 at 1:48 PM. I did hesitate before finally just taking the plunge but it turned out to be one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Im still saving a spot for the Pashley, though. I dont think Betty will serve me as well in the winter. View my complete profile.

Made By Loppis: Black gloves - mustat tumput
http://madebyloppis.blogspot.com/2015/02/black-gloves-mustat-tumput.html
A Finnish girl 40 with a passion for yarn - Suomalainen 40 vuotias tyttönen joka rakastaa lankaa. Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Black gloves - mustat tumput. These were made for my boyfriends (yeah, he's fifty, but acts like five, so I just cannot call him my man friend) middle daughter for Christmas. Nämä tein poikaystäväni (joo, on se viiskymmentä, mutta käyttäytyy kuin viisi, joten en mitenkään voi kutsua häntä miesystäväkseni) keskimmäiselle tyttärelle jouluksi. Started: December 12 , 2014. French Market Fibers: Knitting for a Friend
http://frenchmarketfibers.blogspot.com/2011/12/knitting-for-friend.html
Friday, December 9, 2011. Knitting for a Friend. A friend of mine asked me to knit a cowl for her and so I chose Smooth Edge. And the yarn, 50/50 Silk Merino DK, and she requested a specific color to go with her winter coat. I loved the way it turned out! It's so squishy and soft. The silk in the yarn really shows off the color and brightens it up. But the best part, is that she LOVES it :). December 9, 2011 at 12:54 PM. What a great gift! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
