The Desert Dowsers had their first meeting in September of 1984 when Linda Knudsen returned from an American Society of Dowsers Convention in Santa Cruz and contacted local dowsers about forming a chapter of ASD. The Las Vegas group became an official chapter of the American Society of Dowsers in July of 1985.
