Tuesday, December 20, 2011. It’s been two months already! Owen with Dr. del Castillo. Owen’s birthday party in the hospital and meeting Grampy, Elisabeth and Clara. The big girls went to church in outfits Auntie Emmy sent from her trip to China while Grammy, Mommy, and Owen stayed home! Pastor Veiga came to visit. Owen rested in the sunlight. Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Things I don't want to forget. Elisabeth has started counting, though the number sequence is "1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 10." Today, she proudly announced that she had nine toes, after counting the digits on one foot! Last week at dinner we were explaining opposites to Clara. "The opposite of tall is not tall, or short," I told her. After doing several pairs successfully, I asked her, "What is the opposite of clean? Not clean," she replied. "What is another word for 'not clean'?

Saturday, February 26, 2011. The “Ball-Pocketer”. She made up this game herself, filling her pajamas with the balls from the inflatable ball pit and then unzipping her pjs to unleash them! Friday, February 25, 2011. Nathan left for Chicago and my mom came to visit. We were delighted to have her and to include her in the initial ultrasound of Baby #3! Both girls wore ‘Big Sister’ shirts – it felt kind-of crazy to put one on Bitty! At Hermann Park after the OB appointment. Friday, February 18, 2011.
