The Toolsons: April 2015
http://thetoolsons.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Over a month after closing on our house, we are actually moving in. We've been so busy getting it ready, and to be honest, we are going to be living in the middle of the work for a few more weeks after moving in. But we are really excited. I had a girls day with London today since my sweet SIL Rachel took Ty. We packed up the house and then ran house errands (not an ideal girls day), but London loved the attention and lack of attacking from Ty. She was my good helper:. We can do this!

The Toolsons: May 2015

When my friend Amber bought and renovated a house, she recorded on her blog the whole progression of the house and I loved reading about it. I thought I'd do the same here, so I have a record of it, but it may be only interesting to me! Warning - there are a lot of pictures. But seriously, this house has come a long way (though we still have many projects to do! Here's what the family room looked like, the first time we saw it (yikes! I finished painting the rest of the house (many long, late nights ther...

The Toolsons: November 2014
http://thetoolsons.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
The Season of Giving. This is a true,. Beautiful Christmas story that happened exactly 100 years ago during World War I. It is so touching, and I love this ad from Sainsbury's, with the message at the end. We're blessed with so much, it's a wonderful season to remember to give to others. Instead of Running a Marathon. Our lighting isn't great on these pictures- something about the sun being behind us. But you can see how beautiful the day was! We left from Treasure Island (I had never been there before!

http://danandkristendurst.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 10, 2014. Our fun Fourth of July weekend. Our Fourth of July week kicked off with finally agreeing on a paint color for our entry way/main flowing area. Hooray! The weather was PERFECT. Not too humid, nice when we got there, started getting pretty hot right when we were leaving. Just perfect. We came home for nap/quiet time and then went out to dinner. We came home for a patriotic trifle dessert and then Dad headed back to C-ville. It was fun to have him spend the day with us! We had promi...

Wurst and Durst: June 2015
http://danandkristendurst.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 22, 2015. Worst idea I've ever had. The manager wasn't even helping his employees. He was all smiles just taking pictures and distracting the employees from getting their work done. It took so long to get the donuts that I was then LATE to pick him up from school and I felt even worse. Fortunately for me, he was very forgiving. Eli managed to turn himself perpendicular while napping. Sam adores his little brother. I think the feeling is mutual. I took the kids to some water feature thing.
