The Drake Digest

About a week ago, Jon and I decided we NEEDED to get out of the city. So in about 2 days we planned a short 3 hour drive to the city of Cappadocia. The earliest mention of Cappadocia goes back to 6th century BC. It’s also given Biblical account in Acts 2:9 when the Cappadocians were named as one group hearing the Gospel in their own language shortly after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We had a lot of fun and what’s not cool about seeing such a historical place like that? Other hotels surrounding ours.

Inside one of the caves. This is Elmalı church (apple church) built sometime around 1050. Aubri turned 3 in January while we were home in Arkansas visiting family over the New Year. My mom made one of Aubri's favorite desserts, Oreo cookie pie, and we had a small little party for her. She just loves all the attention! We had her birthday party back in Fort Worth when we got home. She had a wonderful time with all of her friends! What a fun day!
