Saturday, May 21, 2011. Sadly both of our fish died this week. Sydney kept vigil by their bowl most of the day. We could tell that something wasn't right and knew they probably wouldn't make it much longer. Sydney was really sad to learn that we weren't going to take them to the vet. We did promise to get a new fish soon if they both died. We flushed them after they died and I thought there might be some tears, but nope! They just waved as they swirled down the potty. At least it wasn't too traumatic.

I walked him to his class and once again became choked up and had a hard time actually leaving. Bode is growing up so fast and I am not sure I am ready for it. Our exciting daily life! Sunday, October 3, 2010. I am way behind but just wanted to update on a few things we have been up to lately. We LOVE summer but are excited for fall as well:). 1 Carson went to pre school- such a big boy! 2 We went to Jackson Hole and road in a stagecoach! Carson loved the cowboys everywhere! 3 Chris went to Boston for 2 weeks and brought back lots of baseball stuff after seeing a game! 4 Chris won the annual Benson firework car race- BIG deal around our neighborhood!

About a week ago, Jon and I decided we NEEDED to get out of the city. So in about 2 days we planned a short 3 hour drive to the city of Cappadocia. The earliest mention of Cappadocia goes back to 6th century BC. It’s also given Biblical account in Acts 2:9 when the Cappadocians were named as one group hearing the Gospel in their own language shortly after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We had a lot of fun and what’s not cool about seeing such a historical place like that? Other hotels surrounding ours.
