On the Thursday morning we left, the weather forecast in Richmond was calling for rain and sleet. We got on our plane but it was delayed for 30 minutes so they could de-ice the wings. At that point I was so glad that I had opted for the direct flight and we weren’t connecting in Philly or New York! We stayed in the small boutique Hotel Croydon. Isn’t that incredible?

Tim is done teaching for the school year and the whole family is looking forward to adding a baby boy to the mix. We actually started learning about birds in December, 2006, when we bought our delightful Canon 20-D SLR camera - and have been going crazy ever since! We named our camera Ireland, since monetarily it replaced the trip, and now having purchased a 30-D as well, we find ourselves limited to Texas!
