Jones Family Jaunts: November 2011
http://jonesfamilyjaunts.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 20, 2011. A birthday in urgent care. Thursday was Scott's birthday. Instead of celebrating with the roasted turkey, stuffing and au gratin potatoes I had planned, we celebrated in Urgent Care together. That's right.we both got sick at the same time. It was awful! But, you know what the beautiful thing was? It's an amazing thing to know you have support. You don't like to be in situations where you have to use it - but knowing that it's there, is very cool. Jones Family Jaunts: Thankful on Thursday
http://jonesfamilyjaunts.blogspot.com/2012/05/thankful-on-thursday.html
Thursday, May 17, 2012. Today I am thankful for change. There was a time when Tyler would have had a full-scale, Mach 5 MELTDOWN when faced with the prospect of getting even close to water. I mean, afraid-around-the-fountains-at-the-mall kind of fear. And this is how far we have come. As you can tell, the "jumping" portion of the lesson is his favorite part! Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Take a good look.this hasn't happened in a while. Between swim lessons and activities in the evening and schedules just being all over the place, it has been far too long since I have been able to actually cook a well-balanced meal for the entire family. Tonight, we managed it - and it felt great! Monday, May 21, 2012. And anything Tyler does, Jakes does too :) So, we've spent a LOT of time around the swings this weekend. Thursday, May 17, 2012. Friday, June 1, 2012. Today we watched our big boy Tyler graduate and take the next step towards Kindergarten! Tyler's school put on an adorable program. Tyler even had a "part" where he said "It's going to be a wonderful day! Then they recited all of their letters with words and sounds, then even sang their months and colors in both English and Spanish! It was adorable and clearly brought tears of joy to the entire room. A few pictures from the ceremony and afterwards. TTentTall Tent, Tall Tent!

Friday, February 26, 2010. Birmingham with Joanna and Steve. Last weekend, we went to Birmingham to visit Joanna and Steve. We had a great time catching up after not seeing each other for a year. We went to the sea-life centre. It was fantastic fun! Ethan braved touching the starfish, but wouldn't go anywhere near the crab! Posing in front of the fish tank. All the tanks were at eye level for the kids, which was great! This is Steve's niece. It was fun to have her along! Steve, Bethany and Joanna. Poor R...
