Monday, June 13, 2011. We took our first vacation as a family of four to Sunset Beach with the Christies. We had such a fun, relaxing time. Lucas was still half asleep when he felt the ocean for the first time. He didn't mind it- in fact, I think he kind of liked it! We took a walk on the pier one evening,. Had hammock time,. And we had fun on the beach doing handstands, wheel barrel races, and frisbee toss. We hung out under the house. And ate lots of good food,. Then Lila got ahold of the camera.

Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Time flies when you're having fun. People used to say that to me, but I never really understood- until I had my kids. Lucas is 4 months old. Can you believe it? He had his checkup yesterday and weighs 13 lbs 14.5 oz and is 25.5 inches long. He is in the 25th% for weight and 75th% for weight. His head is huge and is in the 95th% (it holds a big brain). Thursday, March 31, 2011. Born 3/26/2011 at 1:17pm. He weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and measured 20 inches long. We are totally in love and his big sister has been amazing. We are truly blessed. Saturday, March 26, 2011. Yesterday I began the process of induction because I had developed a rare condition called choleostasis. For a week, I had uncontrollable itching all over my body. It was especially worse at night and on the palms of my hands and soles of my feet. Story and pics to come soon, I promise.)* *.

Saturday, November 26, 2011. Today we spent a beautiful day at Pullen Park. I remember going there as a child and we had taken Lila there several years ago. They recently completely renovated the park and rides and we were excited to try it out. Of course, since the weather was so perfect, half of Raleigh had the same idea we did (but we still had a great time). Here's the group (minus Trish).
