Within 48 hours, my sister had a purchased furniture off of Craigslist, refinished it and SOLD it! The coolest part about it all is that a portion of her profits will be going to Wings of Hope Hospice in Allegan, MI, where our family has volunteered for many years. With our due date just one week away, we were coming into the July 4th holiday weekend with big plans to do nothing but relax. Our little bundle of joy had other plans! We arrived to the hospital around 2:00 PM and Becca was checked in at 70% effaced and 3 cm dilated (not bad for no contractions). Since it's been awhile, here are a few highlights from summer into fall this year. Our dear friends Lindsey and Rob moved to London, England this fall! Lindsey and Becca enjoying the sunset at Boatwerks in Holland. They drove down to GR and back in one evening just to have dinner with us - what amazing friends! The gang at Pyramid Point.

I am proud to report that team "Ma'ams on the Move" successfully completed the Breast Cancer 3-Day, 60-mile walk in Detroit a couple of weeks ago. On the team: me, my Mom, my Mom's two younger sisters - Jana and Jill, Aunt Jana's daughter (my cousin) Ashley, Aunt Jill's daughter (my cousin) Erica, our cousin Steve's wife Kim, and our new friend (a work friend of my Aunt Jana's) Rachael. Two weeks ago, we drove out to Minneapolis for the wedding of our friends Barry and Marissa. We had such a wonderful time catching up with the bride and groom, with Barry's family, and with our friends Mike and Cari.
