The Chapman Family: Time travel
http://thefamilychapman.blogspot.com/2012/09/time-travel.html
Monday, 17 September 2012. Ok, yes I know its now 2012 but there is so much from the 2nd half of 2011 that has yet to be told. It was a hidden blessing. The other big part of our summer was spending about 3 weeks at mum/grannies house. The weather was nice so we had days at parks, playing in sprinklers and in the paddling pool. We took a train to Glasgow to visit David's family, the girls enjoyed the ride and all the attention that they received. Thus ends 2011, finally! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

https://omwana1.wordpress.com/2008/06/05/crawling-standing-and-more
Omwana One [ baby #1 ]. A “baby blog” for our first child…. Crawling, Standing, and More! June 5, 2008. That’s right… she’s crawling now! Ashley started “lurching” forward in early March, but then just as she was turning 6 months old, she put it all together and just like that, we’ve now got a crawler on our hands! Soon after came the standing up (while holding on to something), and of course there is also lots of cute “babbling” and other things going on! She is so fun! Feed for this Entry. Hi Shane and...

Friday, September 21, 2007. So the doubters were right. Yes, it has been a very long time since I blogged. Yes, I'm too busy to have time to do this. Yes, I'm giving up much needed sleep to blog. I get so inspired by Lil Sis and Shell that I want to be like them! Alas, there is a reason this blog is called Controlled Chaos - Sort of. The Chaos has been out of control lately. . . Controlled Chaos - Sort Of: July 2007
http://cj-controlledchaos.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 24, 2007. Baby Stroller vs. the Rollercoaster. I made a promise to my husband when we were considering starting a family. "Honey, we will do most of the things we do now, just with more planning" Well, my words came back to haunt me this weekend. Baby Girl, Lil Sis, Nephew Bug, Shell, Glenai. I just wanted to answer, "Didn't you see the little harness for the 3 mo olds. After negotiating the hairpin turns of the line with strollers, a baby food jar catastrophe, and ascending a flight of sta...

It’s a Dirty Job | Notes on a Napkin
https://notesonanapkin.wordpress.com/2008/01/05/its-a-dirty-job
Notes on a Napkin. It’s a Dirty Job. January 5, 2008. In terms of visceral reaction, it was a little like stumbling across a bunch of dead bodies in the basement. I can barely write about this without gagging. It’s true what I learned in the second grade. Boys are. In fact, gross. And since the boy in this particular story once threw his own poop under the bed. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised. But I was. Author pauses to indulge in a renewed fit of shuddering and retching.). I mean, who does that.

The Vicks in Texas: a skunk and a scone
http://thevicksintexas.blogspot.com/2008/02/skunk-and-scone.html
Thursday, February 14, 2008. A skunk and a scone. Well, this Valentine's Day has proved eventful already. Let me tell you about our skunk saga this week. So, we called the city at the advice of a deacon in our church and they came to set up a skunk trap. Apparently, this is a normal occurence in Hale Center. We put an egg inside and set the trap. We waited for a few days. Wednesday morning we woke up to a skunk in our trap. It was soooo cute! An hour later on Wednesday afternoon, we look out the window a...

The Vicks in Texas: Going south!
http://thevicksintexas.blogspot.com/2008/03/going-south.html
Friday, March 14, 2008. I can say that with relief, as we just finished our finals today! I know, it's hard to believe another semester is already gone! It seems like we just had Christmas and started this term! It's flown by, but been a real blessing. It was a challenging semester, though. We seem to have hit burnout a few weeks back. But we pressed on and made it through this week, including a brutal Ed Wharton final in Scheme of Redemption today. We did our best! After three days of the Lubbock campai...

My Tiny Kingdom » Days Before Doorknob
http://mytinykingdom.net/2007/04/19/days-before-doorknob
April 19, 2007. I was making up the bed and I let out a muffled, feminine poot. 8221; I shouted reflexively, before I realized that Bill was at work, the boys were at school, and my toot wasn’t placing me in physical danger. In the days before Doorknob, flatulence was followed by an “excuse me” or the proclamation, “I farted! 8221; followed by peals of laughter by the small boys who are amused by such things. One night I was reading the movie reviews in my. 8221; and “Safety! Was going on in there? 8221;...
