About – The Four Faced Wind
https://thefourfacedwind.wordpress.com/about
The Four Faced Wind. Poetry by Valeria Castellanos. Poetry by Valeria Castellanos. My poems are a part of me, a moment lived, an emotion, a melody, a symphony, a dance, a breath, a silver kiss, the sting of a wasp, the hiss of a snake, the energy of a rapacious, honky tonk, striptease earthquake. My poems are generally about me but, sometimes they are about you, because everything is connected. 2 thoughts on “ About. September 5, 2015 at 12:41 pm. September 8, 2015 at 10:34 am. The Red Moon – The Four Faced Wind
https://thefourfacedwind.wordpress.com/2015/08/14/the-red-moon-2
The Four Faced Wind. Poetry by Valeria Castellanos. The red moon makes me moan. Groan like an ember. Throw me a bone. Shivering in the ashes. Like a thousand lashes. She is burning, turning. Like a lust driven God. Smoke gray moths, entranced. Dance before her pictographic face. Reflections in the smoking mirrors. Leave behind no trace. Fantastic feathers waving, playing. In the corners of my room. Tonight I’m wearing sequined masks. And, a dangerous perfume. This conflagration of a starless night. Did t...
In the Dream of the Broken Clock – The Four Faced Wind
https://thefourfacedwind.wordpress.com/2015/08/08/in-the-dream-of-the-broken-clock
The Four Faced Wind. Poetry by Valeria Castellanos. In the Dream of the Broken Clock. I awake and expect the moon to be. As silent as always,. Floating calmly between the clouds,. But tonight she instead,. Has fire in her eyes,. Has painted the flowers violet,. Slashed them with scarlet shadows,. She is laughing with the silver crickets,. Hair all over the sky,. Cheeks full, bellowing,. Sharing her secrets with everyone except me. All I can find are echoes. The clock can no longer tell me the time,.
White Flowers – The Four Faced Wind
https://thefourfacedwind.wordpress.com/2015/07/25/white-flowers
The Four Faced Wind. Poetry by Valeria Castellanos. It is April and the whisteria’s flowers are almost gone. Only a few, lacey, lavender, old maids remain. Watching the azaleas fade away. Sighing as the dogwood’s petals are floating down. Settling onto the ground. Now is the time of the white flowers. Mongolia’s thick, cool, flesh is wet. Filigreed hydrangea shadows cast on the breeze. Star studded jasmine, spilling sweet perfume. Merging with a single note of pure, unending sound. And, gothic grace.
Baudelaire – The Four Faced Wind
https://thefourfacedwind.wordpress.com/2015/07/24/8
The Four Faced Wind. Poetry by Valeria Castellanos. I would with holi colors paint the clouds that float on high. I would with absinthe paint my garden and my sky,. And there, without a thought or care,. I would get drunk with Baudelaire. But, nowhere would I go with him. He thinks perfection’s never there. I stay at home instead,. And, brush my hair. I think the world’s most wondrous lair,. And, therein,. Every speck of sand,. And, mine,. Each glass of wine,. So, too, the root of every vine.

Oh, butterfly, butterfly. Where are you going. Out in the open air. Out across the sea. Over the waves of sun in the blue sky. Under the white moon’s shine. Reach into my stillness. Wapley Hill Fort – David Hart Writes…
https://davidhartwritesdotcom.wordpress.com/2015/11/23/wapley-hill-fort
David Hart Writes…. Thoughts, words and pictures from out in the country. It was the day before Hallowe’en and I was scrambling through thick undergrowth and thick fog to the top of Wapley hill fort. I told myself, trying to imagine my Iron Age ancestors making this same journey, their woollen cloaks wet with mist, their leather shoes leaving footprints in the damp grass. My mind insisted,. 8211; and then began imagining those ancestors inches away from my face on the other side of the foggy veil. David ...

Oh, Gods of Poetry! About SEAN Aka: Death By Cartoon. November 5, 2015. November 5, 2015. I glance over at you. And you look back. With the mouth of a razor. Who knew that knives could smile. The red lamp was still swinging. Trying to catch your shadow. Haze of a melting room. Escaping out of the open window. If only heaven was a place. That we could escape too. On our way out of hell. With my tarnished wings. I would embrace you. If only winter could freeze time. Like it turned our hearts cold. Someone ...

The has-been who never was…. July 10, 2016. Fragile souls who cast no shadow dance alone through closed-eye days. Echo sounds of light compression, burdened low by lost compassion. Ribcage still, devoid of breath, a flatlining impression. Mattress springs may not relent for weight of air that stays unbreathed. Shadows from a passing season leave this room unmoved, untouched. Breath across warm skin once pleased but bones alone betray no blush. Evidential history, scarring lacks emotion’s toll. You are co...

The Four Faced Wind | Poetry by Valeria Castellanos
The Four Faced Wind. Poetry by Valeria Castellanos. The hideous summer is now invading. Can’t escape. He is all pervading. Overpowering and persuading. Expressive, repressive, heat parading. Summer returning. Indeed, I am yearning. The whole world is burning. Ensconced himself, yes, in the heart of the sky. No one knows why. Smoldering, shrieking, a monster by day. You can’t make him stop because this is his way. By night he is tossing and turning and churning. One hideous eye, open wide, for my sake.
