Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Tate and I sing a song every time I put him to bed. Usually he finds a song he likes and requests it over and over again until I get creative and introduce a new one. I thought in honor of spring training this year he could learn this song. Hope all the movement doesn't make you too dizzy. :). Are his pajamas on backwards? Sunday, February 13, 2011. Crackin' me up on a daily basis. Another time, we were at Kohl's doing some shopping and it was getting close to lunchtime. Tate was doing pretty well, but told me he was hungry and wanted a snack. I stopped to dig a granola bar out of my purse for him and he said:. Mommy, are you hungry? Maybe a little bit.". Sunday, May 23, 2010. Monday, May 17, 2010. This video took place shortly after the big boy bed was put together. I found some books by one of my favorite childhood authors, Mercer Mayer, and Tate is really into this Fireman book. No surprise there! One night, while I was reading it to him before bed, he started telling me all the words. He has virtually memorized the entire thing! So proud of my sweet, smart boy. Sunday, May 16, 2010. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. I rolled over today for the first time - tummy to back - I am so big! My mommy was so happy she was able to see it! Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Sucker sucker bo bucker". I know the line that's coming next, but it's like my brain went into a fog and I couldn't think of a way to stop or distract him, so he proceeded to sing:. Banana fana fo .". Monday, June 14, 2010. Tate is always saying things that catch me off guard or make me laugh. Often he says these things with such seriousness. Some of his sayings came from things that I know we've said to him, like the following:. Mommy, why did you change your shirt? Well buddy, I spilled something on it." - Me. Oh Was it water? No, it was pop.". Oh It happens.". Daddy, are those whiskers on your face? Yes, buddy.". Daddy, who put those whiskers there? Daddy, I said, who put those whiskers there?

Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Ah, the joys. What no one tells you about the aftermath of potty training your little boy:. 1 He will want to touch EVERYTHING in the public restroom. 2 You will start forcing your husband to take him to the bathroom when out in public because the thought of him looking inside the sanitary napkin container and asking "What's this, Mommy? Saturday, December 25, 2010. I'm a little behind in posting pictures from the past month. Right after Thanksgiving we went to find our Christmas tree at our favorite tree farm. Tate was very excited. I'm not sure what he was more excited about, finding a tree or riding in Grandpa's truck. Running to the trees. There's a lot of trees out here, Mama! We found the perfect tree! Monday, July 26, 2010. We took a vacation to Myrtle Beach this year and met my sister and her family there. Her son Cason is a couple of months older than Tate and her other son Bryce is just over a year old. We had a great time and did a lot of fun stuff. People keep asking me if it was relaxing and I have to say that no, it was not! Here are the highlights of our trip. We went to an alligator farm. Wednesday, August 11, 2010. A week or so later, Tate was playing with his Cabbage Patch baby (yes, he still LOVES that thing) and he said "Aunt Stacy's going to have a baby". I think I said, again, "That's nice, buddy.". A few days after that, we had arrived home at the end of a busy day and I was getting dinner ready. Dave was still at work.
