Rambling Happenstances and Random Craftaculars: General Update: Writing and Crafty Goodness
http://randomcraftacular.blogspot.com/2016/03/general-update-writing-and-crafty.html
Rambling Happenstances and Random Craftaculars. Writing, Crafting, Randomness. Tuesday, March 15, 2016. General Update: Writing and Crafty Goodness. In craftiness I've been going to back to a lot of crochet. I'm working on the Storm Weather Vest which was published in the August 2014 issue of Crochet World Magazine. It's on my ravelry. Page of course. I'm using a lovely Red Heart Soft yarn which is not at all like their "Super Saver" acrylic, and for that I am thankful. I'm still working on my coat.

Rambling Happenstances and Random Craftaculars: Craftiness
http://randomcraftacular.blogspot.com/2015/10/craftiness.html
Rambling Happenstances and Random Craftaculars. Writing, Crafting, Randomness. Sunday, October 18, 2015. This month I have been on a bent to get all of my unfinished projects finished. I have a bad habit of getting most of the way done with a thing and then picking something else up. I often then forget to go back to the previous projects and they pile up eventually. I've manged to finish the Tunisian beaded scarf (class was originally taken 6 or so months ago). I've put aside writing crochet and knit pa...

Regina had offered to take Leah to Florida with her. “My sister owns a restaurant down there,” she’d explained after they’d been talking for a while. “It’s one of those beach front restaurants that tourists love to eat at. Apparently they tip well, too.”. Regina had smiled at her, “You got a boy? 8220;I know,” Leah laughed....

Monday, April 14, 2014. I like Kirsten Dunst. And not just because she's the voice of Young Anastasia. If you pay attention to pop culture news at all, she's been getting a lot of heat for some comments she made in a Harper's Bazaar interview a couple days ago. If you're lazy, here it is. My mom was a stay at home mom by choice, and someday I hope to do lead a similar life. I look forward to being a soccer mom and cooking and creating a beautiful home and taking care of the physical, emotional and sp...

Cooking and eating the Haley way. December 18, 2012. Oh my gosh this is so good, and once again, I have my friend Robert to thank (the man behind the Rhubarb Tequila Cocktail. He made Blake and I homemade Irish cream last weekend, and I just had to share the recipe. With you. Such a perfect gift, I’m planning on giving a bottle or two for Christmas this year. No need for store bought Irish cream as this is. Easy to make and even more delicious. Just be careful: it goes down. December 17, 2012. But I thin...

I am a college student who will feel fortunate if I graduate college by the time I’m thirty. I would blame it on the ADD, but, that’s such a cop out. If dreaming was a profession, that’s mine. In real life though, I work with children. It’s awful. I love coffee and rock n roll. I need both to survive. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

In the weeds about plant-based eating. Sunday, July 26, 2015. I've been under a lot of stress for the past several months. I had surgery, broke out in horrible hives, met book deadlines, and my brother passed away. During that time, I fell off the healthy eating wagon. And I didn't fall off with a thud, but with a CRASH, and then the healthy eating wagon moved on and I was picked up by the garbage food express. Because at the end of the day I'm tired and want convenience. But the bigger reason is tha...

The Half-Baked Cookie
Thursday, August 6, 2015. It still hasn't sunk in. Did this really happen? How did we survive? Seven times. We rolled seven times. Only one person with any broken bones. How? When I tell people this story I don't think I realize how bad it really was. It all started when three of my favorite people came all the way from Indiana to visit. They were out here for a week, and we decided to go four wheeling in the mountains on the last day. Go out with a bang, as it were. At this point, everyone was depressed...

Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Don't like phrase "keeping busy" - that's what I'm doing. I have resolved to write some sentences in an attempt at communication. Some of it might seem narcissistic or sad. But I trust myself, and I trust there is nothing. Them, how did. Come up with the ideas? Because they’re geniuses. And we still absolutely need them. I’d like to think I at least. Their thoughts though. This paragraph relevant to the next one. By Quentin Meillassoux, and, I am not ashamed to say,. But apar...

Friday, November 19, 2010. I have become a cooking fiend! Among my favorite and best are: pastrami wrapped asparagus, and homemade sushi. Jim is still free-lancing, but it's actually working out really well. And he's happy at work! Which is a major bonus. I have been accepted to go back to BYU in January, but we're not sure if we can afford it, but with lots of prayers miracles can happen. I'm hoping to get a BS in neuroscience and maybe go on to get a Masters degree. Emi and Than love holding hands.
