The Hallum Family

A glimpse into our boring lives. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Living with Mimi and Paw Paw. Patrick has painted several rooms and we are in the process of updating the kitchen, it's all going to be great! I'm especially looking forward to not having any more $400 gas bills like last month. (That is no joke, we seriously drive over the river that much.). We take lots of walks. JD was so. Excited (I couldn't even get Caroline to look in my direction! But my parents are wonderful and haven't complained once...

The Hallum Family: Get out of the house!

http://thehallumfamily.blogspot.com/2008/10/get-out-of-house.html

A glimpse into our boring lives. Sunday, October 12, 2008. Get out of the house! On Sunday, September 7th we got some great news: A girl who had already looked at our house twice that weekend wanted to look at it one more time before deciding between our house and another house. I was feeding Daniel in the nursery when Patrick ran in with Sarah (best friend and realtor) on the cell phone. The only caveat was that she wanted to see the house at 1 o’clock. Wow! The Hallum Family: Girls will be girls

http://thehallumfamily.blogspot.com/2008/10/girls-will-be-girls.html

A glimpse into our boring lives. Sunday, October 12, 2008. Girls will be girls. Friday, September 5th the girls (and Daniel! Had a playdate at Reagan’s house. As usual, they played and fought. But I think that is normal for 2 and 3 year olds. Very much a love and hate relationship! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Family, Faith, Friends, Fun and always some good Food! The Hallum Family: Easter Seals race

http://thehallumfamily.blogspot.com/2008/10/easter-seals-race.html

A glimpse into our boring lives. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Caroline, Daniel and I did the Easter Seals walk on Saturday, along with Lolly and Morgie and Mano! Patrick would have been there, but he was at the house working as usual. It was nice and cool and the kids enjoyed it. My favorite part was pushing the 500 lb double stroller over 2 curbs and spilling orange juice all over me AND the stroller! Doesn't my sissy look beautiful with her new darker do? Chris and Rebecca Lee. View my complete profile.

Monday, July 28, 2008. July 28, 2008. I guess it's time for an update! Get ready for a bunch of pictures. We've gone to the lake a couple of times this summer. Richard LOVES the water, the boat, the tube, EVERYTHING! He also loves napping on the boat! Uncle Kent let him drive, but he fell asleep at the wheel! Right when we were about to get out of the tube, it started feeling really warm.lil bit was peeing on me! Of course, I didn't really care. Only he can get away with that, though. Here are two pictur...

http://therappoldfamily.blogspot.com/2008/11/october.html

Monday, November 3, 2008. It's been a while since I last updated! I'm going to skip a few months and just update October. Maw Maw and Tia (Aunt Janey) came to visit. They made a cake, and we all went to the pumpkin patch. Tia rode on the tractor train with Richard, and it was so much fun! We've already started raking leaves in the yard, and Richard is a BIG help! We also went to an Air Show! He likes to wer his daddy's old clothes! He's still my lil pumpkin, though! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Friday, June 29, 2012. Big Cedar Lodge and Silver Dollar City! Well, I'm a little late in this, but better late than never! After Jasper, we traveled over to Big Cedar Lodge near Branson. Clay was presenting at an accounting conference, so we tagged along. It is a great spot for family fun! Above Grace and Andrew are enjoying the Lincoln Log table in the main building. We spent a lot of time here! Big Cedar is just a beautiful place! Here is some of the lovely scenery. And then, Silver Dollar City! I rea...

The Glasgows: Gracie's Birthday!

http://clayandj.blogspot.com/2012/08/gracies-birthday.html

Wednesday, August 1, 2012. We had a lovely birthday for Grace. Her birthday is June 6, so yes, this post is just about 2 months overdue! We started out with a family party Friday night at my parent's house. Red was the theme, and even the gifts were color coordinated! This red dress up dress was sewn by Mimi and the parasol was from Nana. Grace made it super easy on me this year and requested cupcakes. Yum, yum! Saturday morning was Grace's friends party. We were both super excited about it! Andrew was s...

http://clayandj.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 19, 2010. Here's Gracie working on a puzzle and wearing a dress from Mimi. I tried to get her to stand up and let me take a good picture, but she refused, so I snuck up on her playing to get this shot. Oh, and Sabrina. And big news from Andrew! He has started scooting! He started at the boppy. And just inched his way forward! Friday, August 6, 2010. Mema and Pop got to come for a visit recently. Andrew was in awe of Pop! Andrew just stared at Pop and smiled! The Glasgows: March 2010

http://clayandj.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 7, 2010. Gracie had a good time this winter with snow! She calls it "snome." Works for snow and snowman. Wish we'd had some sweetened condensed milk on hand to make snow ice cream- oh well, maybe next time! Like in 5 more years. Our snowman. Grace was ready to go inside at this point, but she really had a great time building the snowman with daddy. Mo-hawk boy. Or fatty! Enjoying one of her favorites- pizza! Mimi's joke is that Gracie's paci is homemade, Andrew's is store-bought! This was o...

The Curry Experiment – Entry 1. Barack Obama – White House Correspondents’ Dinner 2013. The Curry Experiment – Entry 1. I recently discovered two things about Asda that had previously passed me by. Firstly, it is cheaper than Tesco by quite some margin so I went a bit mental with my purchasing of coffee and washing stuff. Secondly though, and most importantly in terms of the study that is to follow, they do a rather extensive range of chicken-based curries. Chicken Korma (1 chilli rating). I’ve heard tha...
