Sunday, June 21, 2009. Here we are in front of Notre. Dame Just hanging around Paris. We went to the Eiffel Tour the first night we arrived in Paris. It was very rainy and cold but we still enjoyed the view from the top. The Eiffel is amazing! Saturday, October 11, 2008. We are so excited to be living "over the pond" here in Germany. Life is beautiful! We have found a quaint village called Metterich to live in. There is a little town store, restaurant, and gasthaus (hotel). The next town over from us has a train station which we will use later for travel. We live in the Eifel area of Germany. This is farm country here. Did you know we have cows, chickens, and apple trees in our backyard? I am so glad you are settling in. That is wonderful!

We also celebrated Colin’s 3rd birthday this month – what a big boy! We were happy to have Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Joe come and visit us. Sunday, March 10, 2013. Colin's 3rd Birthday Party. This weekend we celebrated Colin's 3rd birthday! On Saturday we had his birthday party at the YMCA play center. It was Colin's first "real" birthday party. They have a really awesome indoor play area and the kids loved it. We did a fireman theme, with a fire truck cake and decorations. Everyone had a great time! After the party we celebrated Colin turning 3 with a little cake with the family. It was a great weekend. Enjoy the slideshow!
