Tuesday, July 31, 2012. We've had a few teeny tiny glimpses of wintery things here and it just confirms to me that I'm not ready for summer to be over. First of all, we had a big hailstorm which was extremely loud and freaked the boys out the other day. However, when Liam realized, "It's just snow! And they went out to play, all was good again. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Emmett at 48 Weeks. I can't wrap my mind around the fact that Emmett will be one in less than a month. 48 weeks? It happened at warp speed. He is non-stop action, very feisty, chatty, and gets himself into all sorts of mischief. Total babyproofing is impossible, so we watch him closely and sometimes just let him have at all the kitchen appliances that he can reach. Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Oregon Part 6 (Finally, the End). We spent one morning at OMSI, but there were busloads full of kids there for school trips, so we didn't last long there either. The best solution? Hopping on the MAX train with no schedule and no agenda and just letting the boys ride the train. You would have thought we were in Disneyland! Spaghetti Factory is always a favorite stop, especially when there are rain puddles for jumping. Some of our best times were just hanging out in our hotel room.
