Friday, April 25, 2008. I Want it to Twirl. So, I'm trying to make a dress for my little flower girl. No idea what I'm doing. The pattern is very confusing, so I'm just making it up as I'm going. I'm almost finished, but the bottom part doesn't twirl. It's too straight. I can't stand it that way. Fortunately I bought enough fabric to try again with that part. Any tips out there? Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Not So Typical Wednesday. We left about 5:45pm yesterday. I was so proud of myself. I packed very lightly for the kids and me and had all my errands done, everything in the car including cooler and snacks by the time Ryan got home from work. I even had the car washed, some pants altered, walked and played outside with the kids, and had the dog boarded! And believe it or not, my house was clean too. Amazing. Why are we here? He has been "playing" with the idea for about a month now - He would go to the potty, lift the lid, pull down his pants and stand there. But, it was always too late - he had already gone in his diaper. But, tonight for the first time - he made it to the potty before he went in his diaper!
