Monday, January 5, 2009. I Want to Run, but it's Raining Out. Ever have those moments or days when you wish you could go strong, run hard, tackle much, conquer all? Right now I wish I could go for a run. I need the exercise, my mind loves the space that running brings, I like the spiritual enrichment I get from my ipod music and teachings while I run, and I've actually got the time (which isn't always there! But it's raining outside and it's just not going to happen! I can hardly wait. Here We All Are!

Sunday, June 15, 2008. Since returning from Yosemite early this week, my feet have still been running. Wednesday night I taught Ladies' Bible Study in the wonderful book of Esther. Then, Thursday was the first of three track meets for our city. I ran the mile in exactly the same time I ran it last year. We covered Charlotte, Atlanta, and St. Simons in 6 nights and 7 days. My friends' were beyond generous in treating Norah and I to a beyond fabulous time. Memories were made that will not be forgotten! I just hope we can see everyone again soon! Fun does not even begin to describe the time we had! Oh how I miss Charlotte for sure!
