Just the everyday musings of the Hoppe family. Friday, August 21, 2015. 3rd Grade and the End of Summer. Norah started 3rd grade this week and she was quite excited and nervous the night before. She of course came home the first day saying it was great! I cannot believe how fast she is growing up.I just want it to slow down. I tried to snap a quick pic of her in her room.(I think she is thinking.Mom, it is time for you to go now.) Ha! With the end of summer here (boo! I miss my days filled with Norah!

Just the everyday musings of the Hoppe family. Monday, August 3, 2015. Friday's movie ("Descendants") was a hit with Norah. Saturday we had a more chill day and then hit the beach later in the day. It was so beautiful. Jeff and Norah played in the ocean. Sunday we had a boat day. Norah went tubin' and loved it! It reminded me of when I used to do it as a kid. I see many years of Norah doing tubin', skiing, etc. in her future. The weather was pretty amazing. We even anchored up and had some swim time too.

So Norah made the BEACH program which we are still ecstatic about.then she got all As which is principals honor roll for second quarter, and hit the next point club in accelerated reader. I need to "scrapbook" my pics on here as there has been a lot happening in this last week (so long post and pic overload.) I think I will go backwards and start with what we were up to today. I love Norah wearing her shades! Mom cooling off in the water. Most importantly this first week of school makes Norah an official 2nd grader!
