still the flowers grow: April!!
http://stilltheflowersgrow.blogspot.com/2015/07/april.html
Still the flowers grow. Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Gearing up for baseball season! Wearing one of Joseph’s sweatshirts and boots, plus the pink leggings. Kills me. Just after holding his hand up in victory. I never seem to be able to get the right timing to document that. Coach consulting. This was a good day for Joseph and I think having the coach- who is AWESOME in such a calm but fun, respectful and hardworking way—on his mat really helped Joseph. . Then we colored eggs and made a bigggggg mess.

Still the flowers grow. Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Joseph’s Spongebob Bday Party. Obviously, I am very tardy in posting this. I don’t know how all you super on-time bloggers do it! 160; I wont spend a lot of money on crappy prepackaged stuff, but I’ll give it a shot. (I still like to think I’ll be able to avoid all the princess-ish stuff with Nora, but see that it’s just as likely I’ll eat those words too). To let go of the perfect idea I had in my head, but really ended up working out well! 160; (Last ye...

Still the flowers grow. Tuesday, April 14, 2015. End of 2014; beginning of 2015. 160; He didn’t ski at all last year because we were so busy with hockey. This year hear I convinced him not to do hockey again by saying he could ski or skate, but not both. He really seems to enjoy skiing a lot. It was incredible freezing most of the times he skied though, so not many pictures. A little skating adventure too. (These are all out of order…). A little excursion on to frozen Fern Lake at our camp. Here she i...

Trying to be just like brother! Dragging her up the hill. Awww Brad’s dressed like a hobbo, but they are still all super cute. Santa comes to Middlebury. Train exhibit at Sheldon Museum. Waiting to visit Santa—the girls (we ditched Nora with Grandma for all this excitement). And the boys—thanks Tanner. Trying to do right.

Still the flowers grow. Wednesday, March 25, 2015. All dressed up for his holiday concert! 160; He actually picked all this out himself and I just can’t believe it. Such a sign of growing up. Every holiday concert previously I have had to fight with him and force him to get dressed up. This time he seemed to like getting fancy! 160; How things change. First and second grade performing. . Nora in her outfit the GG (great-grandma) picked out for her in Philly. Still one of our favorite outfits! She was...

Harvesting Hope: A life worth remembering. Dec 7, 2014. As an artist, it tortured me. This past year, Donny and I worked through a lot of heavy stuff. In the years leading up to our move, we were going in fast motion, and we didn’t take the time we needed to nurture our marriage. After years of continually feeling exhausted and unfulfilled, we got fed up, sold our home and all of our belongings. Looking for a place that felt like home, then put down roots on a farm in Washington state. We’d tiptoe in the...

Still the flowers grow. Thursday, October 30, 2014. 160; And she is smiling because she has two phones—score! Trying to pose a picture is HARD. But wearing a sweater I knitted for Joseph, my very first knitting project. Open house at the OMYA quarry. . Joseph gets so into it. And we found cousin Louis. Yup, driving with a phone—total heaven for Nora. Not safe Nora, not safe. We grew awesome melons this year. Super easy and yummy. A total lark that worked out. Night before the first frost. 160; We bought...
