Cottle Homebase: August 2008
http://cottlehomebase.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 31, 2008. Doug is turning into quite the farmer. After last year's no-show on the garden, he has us in full production this year! It has been great having a canning companion - it's much more fun with two! We put up 41 pints of beans (with more to come) and 61 pints of plums - preserves and syrup. The syrup was actually supposed to be jam but oh well. Thank goodness for retirement! I think it must have been time to get rid of the freezer. It had actually burned our floor. The first night t...

Cottle Homebase: Letterboxing at the parkway
http://cottlehomebase.blogspot.com/2010/06/letterboxing-at-parkway.html
Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Letterboxing at the parkway. Doug and I took the grandkids on a special outing at the parkway today. First we followed clues to find a letterbox and everyone stamped in their books. We then walked to the playground where we ate our sack lunches and played on the equipment. Next we played Frisbee golf. Then Doug treated everyone to ice cream at Farr's. Brok won for the sweetest (messiest) face! We had a BLAST! That looked like so much fun! Cottle Family: Sick kids!
http://bcottlefamily.blogspot.com/2011/02/sick-kids.html
Sunday, February 13, 2011. I remember my mom would always say that one person getting a cold meant a month of everyone being sick. Well, we got the dreaded cold, and it is going around. I don't even know who got it first, but it won't leave our home. The sickness cycle! You think you are finally over it and next thing you know, someone else has it. Andrew has been one of the worst with a fever and double ear infections (is that a sick little boy or what? PS It gets better when they are older. Please Join...

Cottle Family: December 2010
http://bcottlefamily.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 25, 2010. Oh, I know everyone is waiting for the Christmas aftermath photos, so without further ado, here are some of our highlights. Our family tradition is to pick our Christmas tree at the local U-pick tree farm. The boys love getting their candy cane at the end. Liam had his Winter Frolic at school. Brooke was able to go and help. They had quite the time. Liam had been planning for weeks to wear his too small reindeer sweater. But the wait was worth this! The Toy Story 3 boys.
