The Johnson Family

Sunday, November 25, 2012. This was the first year for tackle football in our home! Caleb surprisingly loved playing defense and played the position (I don't know what it is called) of rushing the quarterback and tackling him. He did a great job and was so fun to watch - minus all the tackling that is! On more than one occasion he would be doubled up defensively to prevent him from reaching the quarterback. Another summer has come and gone and we are back the daily grind. Saturday, November 24, 2012.

The Johnson Family: Hooky

http://thejohnsonjournal.blogspot.com/2012/10/hooky.html

Tuesday, October 30, 2012. My girlfriend and I decided it would be fun to check the girls out of school early towards the end of the school year and take them to lunch and to get a pedicure. They were super surprised and had a great time. In fact school has only been in session a few months and Aubrie is already asking if. We could do it again this spring. The Johnson Family: Bombs Away

http://thejohnsonjournal.blogspot.com/2012/10/bombs-away.html

Tuesday, October 30, 2012. For the past two years on the last day of school we get together with our neighbors and celebrate by jumping off the roof onto the trampoline. It is fun for the kids and has turned out to be a great new tradition. There is parental supervision at all times! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Spring Break part 2. Sunday, November 25, 2012. She would ask. So I caved and gave it to her when we got home. She was sooo happy and wore it all night long even after she had fallen asleep. She looks pretty darn cute in it and as you can see the tags are still on it. On most Sunday evenings you can find her wearing this around the house. Maybe just maybe it will be cold enough for her to wear outside. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Kitchen in Progress (Bluestone Hill). Show and tell decor}. New Milk Paint Colors!

The Johnson Family: July 2011

http://thejohnsonjournal.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Thursday, July 28, 2011. For Aubrie's party this year she asked for an American Girl Doll Tea Party. It turned out absolutely darling and I had a blast planning and decorating. I borrowed the china from a girl friend and used birds as accents. Most importantly the color pink was a must. I searched high and low for fun vintage jewelry for the girls to put on. You can't have a tea party without a fancy flower with feathers! And we couldn't forget about our dolls they deserve accessories too! She got a stom...

When Plans Collide...: November 2008

http://tbiggs.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

What happens when our plans and God's plans collide. This is the skinny on my life and ministry. Thursday, November 27, 2008. It's a tough one for me. I am praying that I can have a balance this day. I am praying that in the midst of this internal struggle, God will continue to remind me of the things I can be thankful for, as well show me ways in which He wants me to live in order to seek justice for those that do not have their daily bread. Monday, November 24, 2008. Sunday, November 16, 2008. Sitting o...

What happens when our plans and God's plans collide. This is the skinny on my life and ministry. Saturday, February 21, 2009. Leaving home to go home. I had such a wonderful time in Michigan! I also got to preach and spend my birthday at home. It was very special. Upon my return, I unlocked my bedroom door to a room full of my other family and friends singing "Feliz Cumpleaños! I have had PLENTY of cake this week! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Santiago, Dominican Republic. View my complete profile.

Sunday, May 9, 2010. The BESTEST Husband EVER. This Mother's Day, Rob shined! Indulge me while I brag a little. Saturday he had tulips and chocolates delivered (sigh.). Saturday he took me shopping for two things I wanted: 1) a pan to make dutch babies in, 2) a pan for pop overs which I have been looking for. Sunday morning I was awoken to snuggles from my boys and cards. Rob made me beignets and cafe au lait for breakfast. Our very own homemade donuts. Faux-mosas in champagne flutes. Verse of the Day.

When Plans Collide...: August 2008

http://tbiggs.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

What happens when our plans and God's plans collide. This is the skinny on my life and ministry. Tuesday, August 19, 2008. Little by little I am putting up pictures from the summer. A real update is on its way soon! Please be praying as I continue to seek out what is God's next step for me. My prayer is that I will be faithful to what He calls me to TODAY, but I would love to know what He has for tomorrow, too. (A Biblical reference about today having enough worries comes to mind, but anyway. ).

Team members had to sing us a song if they left any items lying around.guess who got busted the last night? I think they were doubtful I would sing "I'm a Little Teapot" when they shouted it out. I forgot where my handle was, though.and was pretty off-key! Okay PS: this was my idea! Singing for stuff, of course no one would leave things around (Tammi! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://tbiggs.blogspot.com/2009/08/independence.html

What happens when our plans and God's plans collide. This is the skinny on my life and ministry. Tuesday, August 25, 2009. I have battled it out with the electric company 2 different times in 2 weeks, had to talk with my cell phone company about my voicemail and have had plumbers in and out of my house for 3 days now. I even stopped the unfortunate demolition of my wall before it happened the day before my party! I have electricity, my voicemail is fixed and my plumbers are almost finished!

Our God-filled adventure raising our two dazzling sons from Ethiopia! Tuesday, February 14, 2012. I love holidays and we love celebrating. Therefore, a day when we can love all over our kiddos more than normal is right up our alley! We started the day with wheat pancakes with Valentine M&Ms dipped in homemade yogurt. I feel I sort of negated the candy, by making them whole wheat with Mommy made yogurt.possibly? As you can see friends and family from near and far spoiled the boys plum rotten! I admit the ...
