Journey with Joe and Janet. Monday, October 13, 2008. Snipers, Ford Theater, and the White house. Can you see the snipers? Here is a picture from Ford theater where President Lincoln was assassinated. After President Lincoln was shot they rushed him across the street to this building so he wouldn't die in such a public location. Here is a picture from the back side of the white house. This is the famous Watergate hotel. Posted by Joe and Janet. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

52 weeks to preparedness. Monday, July 14, 2008. Fourth of July, Star Valley Style. Warning: fun times ahead and lots of pictures. This is our trip to Star Valley Wyoming. Grandma and Grandpa Joe came up for a couple days. The bridge at Mammoth Creek. This was right before the turnoff to Bryce Canyon. Zoom in and you will see prairie dogs. This is one of their holes. DANIELS' DAZE: December 2008
http://maandpa7.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 18, 2008. Things I have learned this year! Eat oatmeal for breakfast EVERY day. Actually, quality time does count! Praise people for things they do well. Don't limit yourself to associate with people who ALREADY share your values. Your kids will not learn things until they are ready to. Let them take their journey at their own pace. Play scrabble to keep your mind sharp. (still working on it). Seek out people that make you laugh. Tell your kids you love them everytime you talk to them.
