Our MOPS group planned a morning out at Monkey Joe's. A new one opened up in the area, so we had to go and try it out. It isn't very expensive either, it cost $5 for Kennedy and you can find half-off coupons in sales ads and fliers. I have never been to one before, but it was a ton of fun! Monday, January 5, 2009.

Life as mission - living incarnationally and intentionally. Monday, June 13, 2011. The day ahead would hold many meetings and being indoors on such a lovely Spring day in Riga. Sunny days are often rare, although this Spring has proven to be filled with many of them. When the sun shines, everyone wants to be outdoors, myself included. My response to this sight was overwhelming joy. 'Good Samaritans' were in our midst! It left me feeling inspired and filled with hope that things, indeed, are changing.

Friday, September 17, 2010. Morning, 2:15 am, I feel a tap on my chest. I roll over and doze off. A couple of minutes later, I feel it again. I hear a soft whisper, "Come here, come over here". Not sure if I'm dreaming, I drift off to sleep again. Suddenly I hear moaning, a sense of urgency. I'm having a heart attack! I practically fall out of bed and run over to the other side of the bed.
