This is undoubtedly the best carrot cake i've eaten. and it has nothing to do with my baking skills! And let me say that you are lucky i took a picture when i did. this is the last slice of cake! 1 1/2 c all purpose flour. 2/3 c whole wheat flour (i used 2 parts a.p and 1 part flax seeds instead). 2 tsp baking soda. 1 c granulated sugar. 3/4 c vegetable oil. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. My oh my, it's buttermilk pie! Tonight, we had a couple over for dinner and this was the perfect end to some comfort food. here is the super simple recipe for heaven on a plate:. 1 stick melted butter. Preheat oven to 350. mix all ingredients and pour equal portions into the two shells. bake for 40-45 minutes. the top and crust will brown up a bit and the center won't be super jiggly. It's very different from having a smaller family. There's just more. More laundry, more food, more stuff in the floor, more dishes(bottles), more people desiring your attention and sweet skillz. It's a lot. Add in the fact that we are homeschooling. Why yes, we are crazy. I just got fitted for my tight white jacket. 100 Days of Blessing.
