Thursday, April 29, 2010. Nepal - one year ago! It was but a year ago I was just finishing up my "Servant Team" - 4 months in the beloved nation of Nepal. (a tiny country nestled between India and China, surrounded by the beautiful Himalyan mt.s). I climed up to the top of the world and witnessed the beauty of God from the roof of the earth. I stood on rooftops in the Katmandu valley and read Revelation alloud, prophecying the soon return of King Jesus. Such lovely recollections of a sweet time, Hope!

He clung to me, looking up with doubt on his face as the nurse led us back for pre-op. He settled in quickly and charmed the staff as blood pressure was taken and he slipped into his hospital gown. Aw, look at those eyes! And How sweet is he? He never showed a hint of fear until it was time for him to be taken back to the operating room.

She allowed me to see life through her eyes and allowed me to be a small part of her amazing world. This experience has been the single most significant event in my life. A spiritual journey drawing the soul closer to God. Saturday, December 15, 2012. We live in a world where most things are explainable. There are fewer and fewer mysteries left to be explained. It seems there are few things left to discover. There are no new worlds to discover. The universe has been mapped and distant stars are named. I prefer to live in a world where discovery and mystery and wonder still exist. I prefer to live in a world where I can still ask ‘why? Some call it having a childlike heart.
